how to tell difference between clone and real mods (newbie)

So Ive been to a few vape shops. And they've got some clones upwards of 250-600 dollars. And ive been to others where the
same mods are 60-180 dollars. I cant tell the difference at all. The owner doesn't say there clones. How can you tell? And are there specific mods right now that outcompete the others? I feel like every vape shop I go to has dozens of different mods from the last vape shop.

Go to the makers website, most originals are easy to tell from the fakes.

Typically, if I can afford it, it's a clone. If I can't, it's the real deal.

The Vape shops in my area clearly mark clones as clones.

yeah, agree, if it's a really good deal, it's a clone. Did you ask the owner, most will fess up.

Yeah you really have to watch out for clones. But they also come withe certificate of authenticity. Looking up on the difference between them is also good.
