i have been on my 510 atty for 1 month and 13 days. it has started to lose taste, i have been putting more liquid in it to get more flavor, which in turn makes it leak a lot. so then i have to blow it out, try it again, and repeat. it still produces the same amount of smoke, just not the same color, more grey than white. i have been having to fill it till it starts to gurgle. i have boiled it a couple of times when i noticed that it was getting hard to "draw" on. i dont abuse it.... i put a new one on and it works the way it should. is it time to lay my old atty to rest? also i do not have a volt meter.

The only way to be sure that an atomizer is 100% dead is with a volt meter. Having said that, if your atomizer isn't producing consistent or satisfactory results after extended use, go ahead and replace it. Atomizers are basically disposable, and while not free, they are relatively cheap. I understand the impetus to squeeze every last drag out of every atomizer, but at some point I think you hit diminishing returns. When mine start noticeably going south, I toss them.

I use Joye 510's and usually get at least a good month out of them. Seems you've tried various cleaning methods, in my experience fixing bad draw is tough and with the design of our atties draw (over the coil) is important.

It could be this.

Notice how the atty on the left no longer has the nice air hole like the one on the right. This is one case of how draw can be affected.
