Morandir posts so much useful info about battery performance etc, I'm wondering whether someone can explain how I can test my battery voltages when they come off the charger. It isn't that I don't trust Morandir, quite the opposite in fact. I live in another country and don't use V4L chargers because of the difference electrical outlet format. I'm wondering whether the generic chargers I use or the different voltage power supply might affect my battery lives.
So let me guess, a multi-meter might be required? How do you do this (if you are scientifically challenged)?

You need a multimeter Ms. Katz. Testing on load requires more work (and I don't share my technique for testing autos on load, one of the many reasons for no videos). Since you just want to do the off load tests the positive is post, negative is the threads. Do not let the terminals touch. You hook the positive lead up to the post, negative lead to the threads and press the button or apply negative pressure to the auto (blow into the wrong end). Interested to see your results.

If just testing the voltage of battery I just use the red and black probes for multimeter and be sure it set for voltage higher than battery rated voltage..for my standard vk manual batteries..

I have another way to test voltage drop when testing loads and amperes but that is a different situation than testing just voltages..You would have to take the resistance of the cartomizer also in testing for amps and voltage drops...The ohms is what is called the hot resistances when testing the ecig in action..
