How to use Sour?

I have some TFA Sour and I'm trying to figure out how to use it. I've added a little to some fruit flavors (1-5%) and I really can't taste any difference at all.

Suggestions?

I find it makes an effective paperweight. lol!

I've tried TFA Sour and Lorann Tart and Sour (or whatever it's named) all the way up to ridiculous percentages. A drop of the liquid on my finger tastes just right, but vaped? - nope, not sour or tart to me.

I've long wondered if some of us just can't taste the effect when we vape it. I've heard the same from several other people. but then, some use a drop in 5ml of their juice and say it makes a difference. Not to me, not even at 15%.

I use it at 1% to just barely know its there. Your other flavors may be over-riding it. The Raspberry I mix is only at 6-7% with 3% Sweet Strawberry and the 1% Sour. Everything but the Sour is Capella. It gets harder to distinguish all the flavorings if one of them is real heavy. Less is more imo.

I use it just to enchance my top flavor at maybe 1%. I think there are other concentrates to use if you want an actual sour flavor in your juice, like tart and sour (LA)
I have never used it though.

I quit using sour.... by the time I got the % high enough to taste it... It had a metallic taste from the Malic Acid in it. I use a 10% Citric acid solution. I don't bother shooting for super sour flavors anymore, but for a bit I'll add a drop or so per ML of the Citric and maybe a % or 2 of a tart flavoring to bump the main one up... Like a pineapple backing strawberry type thing.

Thanks, all. I flavor at 15% so maybe that's why I can't taste it. I'll try a lower percentage of flavor and try again.

I get more salivation with 1% of sour but barely taste it. I Put 1% in with fruits when I use a lot of VG.

Just mixed up a 7% TFA Strawberry Ripe with 2% sour in a 60/40 0 nic for a test. Should it steep?

I finally tasted this and I still do not taste sour.
