So how do you think our supply of E-cig products will be affected when the USPS distribution center start to close?

I live in Columbus Ohio, the USPS plans on closing all distribution centers in Ohio except the ones in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. I believe this will manifest in longer shipping times, and annoyance when ordering from online vendors. I also believe the limited brick and mortar stores that exist will start to pick up business from online vendors.

How do you guys think we/you will be affected?

For now, while we will still have USPS, just expect the delivery time to be much, much slower. So order well in advance. Don't know what USPS is going to do about packages, but the local news was discussing they will go to a different location. I really don't know, and it sounds like USPS doesn't know yet either.

In addition to slower mail delivery, at no fault of the vendors, be aware that shipping prices will increase, again, at no fault of the vendors.

Long term, no one knows, not even USPS.

Keep in mind one of the main things hurting the USPS is the fact that many people use other options. I forsee a even larger spike in UPS and Fed Ex trucks coming to my house lol

Those options may cost a little more but between you me and the fence post, the USPS sucked anyway. Many a time have i been waiting for a package only to see them drive on past if i were not actually waiting by the mailbox. Not that needed a sig or anything mind you, they just did not want to get out of their jeep and walk to my door!

The USPS service for me has been great. We are very rural, mailbox is almost a mile from our property. UPS is fine, but Fed-Ex sucks. Most of the time they say my package is undeliverable because a driver does not want to go out of his way. So if any vendor only offers Fed-Ex, I will have to shop elsewhere.

Very generally speaking, the mail service to a P.O. box in the post office is a day faster than mail delivery to your door. Folks might want to rent a P.O. box (less than $100/year in most post offices) to cut the transit time a bit. Also, mail delivery to P.O. boxes is a bit more reliable than carrier delivery to your door.

Note that by "P.O. box" I mean a rented box in an actual post office and not one in a FedEx, UPS or other non-USPS office.
