We need to stand up and be seen and heard on the local and state level when they attempt indoor and outdoor bans and restricting sales and use. That's where the fight is right now. If we sit there and say "well, not a big deal because we had to go find a place to smoke" then they can and will take the right to vape away from us step by step, just like they've made it harder and harder to smoke.
As far as an outright ban, it's not going to happen. The most they can do is try to tax and regulate use. However, they can't do that with non proprietary batteries, which means a battery holder tube, a rebuildable atomizer, PG, VG, flavorings, are untouchable. They'd also have a hard time doing anything to pure nicotine since that's used in other applications. It may be harder to get, or cost more, but it'll be there.
