Like many others here, I started with a 510 (actually, with an SE Gold, but I try not to think about that). I was reasonably happy with it, though it was already becoming a chore.
I thought some of my extended family might be interested, but not in something so cumbersome to use, so I made a post asking for advice on the easiest, most foolproof e-cig. The consensus pointed to a KR8, but one poster chided me a bit on wanting to recommend something that I had never actually tried myself.
I took that to heart a bit, but mostly I came to the conclusion that I wanted to vape, not be consumed by trying to keep my 510 working at peak performance, nor to remain on the neverending quest for the perfect cart mod/filler. So, I ordered a passthrough and some carts to try it out, and was hooked from the first puff. The 510 has been in a box in the closet ever since, along with assorted leftover aquarium filters, teddy bear stuffing, and tea bags.
Choosing V4L was a fortunate happenstance; none of the other vendors seemed to offer much variety in lower strengths. Lucky for me, and other than an adapter to use cartos on my Puresmoker USBpass, V4L has become the only vendor I need. I don't see that changing anytime soon.
