I read a news flash about the FDA involved in an electronic cigarettes research project. Did a Google search and found youtube with video reviews on 801's, 901's and 510's. I purchased an 801 and it did the trick for me. I started googling and found the ECF and started to order heavy mods. After reading here about the KR808 it seemed "easy" compared to jacking around with all this equipment. I like taking the KR808 out in public with me and leave the big boy toys at home.

I found V4L on the internet. I bought the Envy at our local smoke shop and although that experience was horrible, "juice in mouth after every drag" i knew that the e-cig would work for me if i could just find something better. I knew there had to be a better e-cig out there and i found it with the VK. I was a little scared when i placed my first order. The web site was not as professional as some of the other sites but i placed my order anyway and crossed my fingers. And 3 weeks later im in still loving my VK.

My friend came over "smoking" an Njoy...He's a truck driver and he picked up a kit at a truckstop for a good price. He offered to pick one up for me the next time he went by there, and I was tempted to tell him yes. (I figured if it worked for him, a 2 pack a day smoker, then it could help me too) But my inner nerd told him to hold off so I could research the e-cigs.

Then of course I googled the ..... out of it. I eventually typed in "the best e-cigarette" in the search bar, and stumbled across this here e-cig message board. It is here that I found out about V4L, and decided it was the one I wanted to buy. The price was fair, the choices in flavor were plentiful, and most of all the folks on this forum could not say enough good stuff about them.

I saw an online ad for Blu and started checking them out, google lead me to ECF. I read and researched many sources for about two months (I just didn't have the money to buy right away or I would have bought sooner) and was about ready to go with the 510. Kept reading about all the "modding" and issues with the 510 then started reading about the KR8 which lead me to this subforum where I lurked and read about six months of posts.

So basically it was you guys here in this subforum that made me decide V4L was the way to go for me and I'm so very glad!

Like many others here, I started with a 510 (actually, with an SE Gold, but I try not to think about that). I was reasonably happy with it, though it was already becoming a chore.

I thought some of my extended family might be interested, but not in something so cumbersome to use, so I made a post asking for advice on the easiest, most foolproof e-cig. The consensus pointed to a KR8, but one poster chided me a bit on wanting to recommend something that I had never actually tried myself.

I took that to heart a bit, but mostly I came to the conclusion that I wanted to vape, not be consumed by trying to keep my 510 working at peak performance, nor to remain on the neverending quest for the perfect cart mod/filler. So, I ordered a passthrough and some carts to try it out, and was hooked from the first puff. The 510 has been in a box in the closet ever since, along with assorted leftover aquarium filters, teddy bear stuffing, and tea bags. :D

Choosing V4L was a fortunate happenstance; none of the other vendors seemed to offer much variety in lower strengths. Lucky for me, and other than an adapter to use cartos on my Puresmoker USBpass, V4L has become the only vendor I need. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I spent 4 days researching ecigs after I saw my two buddies get ecigs. I wanted the best bang for your buck and when I saw the fair price or the vapor king and read all the positive reviews I was interested. Then when I saw how great the service is and read up on the work people like Leaford are doing to improve things I found my brand. The kr808d-1 gets good reviews and the vapor king is a tweeked kr808d-1, so um ya it was a no brainer.

hey jebey, which sites would you consider really professional looking? it has little to do with the topic at hand - i've just worked as a web designer and so,seriously, the user experience is fascinating. i've also found my opinion of what looks professional can be really different. only 1 thing bothered me about the site and it was that i couldn't find a phone number on the contact page. anyway, so why do you say that about their site?

I love smoking but knew I needed to quit for health reasons. I knew patches and gum were going to be a losing battle since I really enjoyed smoking. I was at a mall and saw the SE brand kiosk and decided I would buy one but the guy was too busy talking to someone else. After waiting 15-20 mins I walked away. Later that night I was having dinner with friends and the only other smoker and I ran out in the cold about 4 or 5 times for our breathing treatments. One of the times she had told me how she ordered an e-cig (i think it was a blu) that she still had not received yet after a month of waiting. She also said how horrible the customer service was. I came home that night and started researching. I looked at blu, red dragon, green smoke, and I almost ordered a 510 joy. I found the ECF and did a ton more research. It just looked like alot of work, modding, and ordering with the others. Somehow I read a post that mentioned V4L and another that mentioned vapor king. I had no Idea what V4L was or were you got a vapor king. I then somehow found the V4L forum and after reading all of your posts here I knew this was the one for me. It is my first ecig and my last. I love the products and all of you. I read the posts here to keep me going. All of you are my support system, thanks! Thanks V4L for AWESOME products and GREAT customer service! I am a V4L!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, obviously i have you to thank, belle. :p we talked about e-cigs before and i'd used a different brand for almost 2 months (and another prior to that for only a week) and would've probably swayed you against trying ANY e-cig, until you told me more about V4L, specifically the lack of an atomiser, their warranty that's not like ANY other, and then reading things here, how overall most are beyond satisfied.

:)

i have you to thank too, h... when i was thinking about it and looking at the V4L site after getting the card, i talked to h, cause i knew she'd used an e-cig before. she was telling me about the issues with the 3 piece models, stressing that the vaping was great but the fiddle factor, not so much. then i copy pasted the description of a cartomizer to her and she was like :w00t: GO FOR IT GIRL!

so that def helped me make the right decision. :D

I met a cute topless gal at Hippie Hollow in Austin Texas and she was vaping some brand I don't know. I talked with her as I was in the process of suffering on Nic gum. She gave me a taste and we chatted for awhile. When I got home from the lake I got online looking for user forums. I found a few that looked like scam forums set up by e-cigg manufacturers. Then I found this forum. I spent almost a week reading posts and was completely confused. I went to a smoke shop in my area to get a good try on an e-cigg. They carried the 510. The thing would not work. It lit but produced no vapor. I left without buying. I decided to try again a few days later and went back and tried again. Once more...no vapor. I then went back to the forums and began reading more. More confusion and lots of posts on poor customer service and emails to distributors who did not reply. Being unemployed I sure didn't want to spend money on some crap that didn't work and had no customer service. Then I found this section of the forum. I happened on the post that had the video titled "I've got your vapor right here." Watched that vid...read posts from very happy customers here and placed my first order. Been here ever since. Haven't touched an analog since I received my second order. My first order was too low of a nic level and I went thru it in 3 days, vaping everything I had. 2 days of analogs waiting for the second order and haven't touched one since. Now whenever i see someone smoking I ask them if they have heard of an e-cigg...show them the product, show them the vapor, tell them about how much healthier I feel and all the rest of the benefits and give them at least 2 cards so they can have one and pay it forward to someone else.
Thanks topless beauty!

I stumbled upon a SE ad on the internet, and went for the 'free' trial, man what a mess! Still waiting for my refund more than three months later...
So I ended up with a 510 kit from a better vendor on the ECF and I was so happy to finally find something that was better than smoking, cus I really liked to smoke. But I was getting burned out on the constant dripping and lack of batt life. Found V4L, ordered the uum kit and am now completly satisfied!

Honestly, ppl had mentioned ecigs to me months ago, but I pretty much dismissed it being a happy smoker till I had an FSC. After trying for about a month to choke the *new* cigs down I couldn't take it anymore. As I was trying to find if I could source non-FSCs from somewhere (anywhere?) my DH mentioned ecigs since there was a thread on ATS about them. Well, now I was a little more open...

My first google search led me here to ECF and then basically spent every free minute for about 3 or 4 days reading everything I could trying to decide what I was going to purchase once I found out that you actually did get TH off an ecig.

The reported ease of use and a lot of happy customer's posts led me to V4L. 2.5 weeks in, I'm totally satisfied. I think I like vaping even more than smoking!

Running into an SE kiosk at the mall is what got be started thinking abut an alternative, mostly to save money. Decided not to go there, good thing.

Ordered a model from ePuffer, thought I had done enough research by then, obviously not. Got a 510, way way too much trouble. More searching and researching. Spent nearly 2 weeks off and on going to a hundred or more WEB sites and lurking at the ECF. Decided the 2 pc was the way to go and liked the selection at V4L, (which has at least quadrupled twice since I started)

No reason to look elsewhere.

Well my friend showed my his e-cig just when I decided to quit, it was a smoking everywhere piece of junk. I went to the web site and did not want to oreder online (I like to see things before I buy), but called and found a cigar shop by me that had them. Bought it and two days later hated it--jeez they are bad! I knew I wanted to vap now so went on a quset to find a good one. Found this site, liked the 2-piece design and orderd a kit--been hooked ever since. II might add I got my buddy hooked on V4L, a pay back for getting me started, and have gotten 10 other people into V4L as well.
Thanks V4L for saving my life!
BTW: got to get 15 posts :0
