I have learned a ton from this forum in a short time so I figured I should register so I could give thanks for all the knowledge I have gained. Maybe even be able give something back to this vaping community once I become a more "seasoned" vaper.

About 3 weeks ago my fiancée and I went to our local vape shop (All About Vapor, Round Rock TX) and got eGo-C kits. This shop also has great juices, some of the best ones we have tried compared to various other samples we have gotten our hands on from friends. At this point, we haven’t cut out analogs completely, but are down to 3 or 4 a day from over a PAD which has already given us a great feeling of accomplishment. Our next step is picking a date to stop the analogs, which actually shouldn't be too terribly difficult since we both are really enjoying vaping and know we will be successful.

Wish us luck, and thanks again!

Welcome! I am also a newbie to E Cigs. I am 2 weeks in with no analogs. :toast: You know what's funny? The first day I bought my setup I NEVER even wanted another cigarette. It is really weird seeing as how I am a 35 year smoker of Marlboro Reds 2-3 packs a day. When I went down to the store my friend recommended I never intended to quit smoking right away but as soon as I started vaping I didn't want another one.

Now, I will say that it all hasn't been roses (I am having some issues with mouth sores) but I think I have already found the reason for that through suggestions here. I am so glad I quit the cigs and started vaping and I am sure I will find the perfect ratio of flavor/nicotine etc... I need to stay cigarette free.

Good luck on your journey! :thumb:

I'm happy about how much vaping is spreading through Austin lately. I'm about 4 years into this. For the first 2 everybody looked at me like I was hitting a crackpipe every time that I would take a puff. Then the corner stores were filled up with the cheap little ecigs and I just had to explain that what I had was "like" one of those. Over the last year though, I'm actually seeing other people with egos and mods around town.
Welcome. Glad to have ya here.

I actually live out in Taylor right now and work in south Austin. I lived in south Austin for 14 years prior. So I still get quite a few weird looks when I vape in this small town. Which is understandable, since I think the folks in Taylor just found out about the internet a few years back. haha J/K
