Hey folks,

Standard forum introduction thread. I suppose I have been at some level aware of e-cigarettes for some time now but only recently "discovered" them. As I am sure is the standard routine, I have been reading the forums here educating myself and am very excited about learning more in anticipation of my first purchase.

Thanks to the community for maintaining such a huge site and wealth of information. Thank you and I apologize in advance for all of the newbie questions I will have that you have all answered a thousand times but I could not find in the search.

I am 36 and have been smoking since 16. I guess I don't have to tell you how excited I am to find that I can keep smoking and not die!

Which one did you get?
I got a 510 tank from mirage cigarettes, first time trying these and they work a treat.

Actually I have not yet made a purchase. I am still in the research phase. I am leaning toward the DSE 801.
That seems to me to be a good balance between the larger more powerful models and the more convenient but weaker ones.

Welcome Tarnacc. About the search....many newbies have problems trying to search for answers here because of the two seach boxes. If you use the one that says "search ECF with Google" you will find tons of info on whatever you are searching for. Hope this helps.

Yes it does, thanks for that. I always try to utilize a search engine when available but invariably I run in to something I just con't find and post a question. Often there is a relpy from a grizled veteran that goes something like "I have already answered that 1000 times, search engine that way newbie!" lol

Anyway I just appreciate the folks who are willing to share their experience/time and I try to be considerate.

Welcome to ECF Tarnacc, you may want ot look at the home page ECF library and read the 6 part series"The wonderful World of Vaping" it tell you almost all you need to know about the hardware, batteries, atomizers, carts, cartos, mods juice etc! Good Luck!

Already found it, and what a fantastic guide! I called a friend of mine earlier and demanded she read it. lol

I also looked at the forum supplier page and great googly moogly that is daunting. Could you maybe direct me to a guide for that?
