I started using a PV a week ago today and haven't had a cigarette since. (YAY!) Hubby had nearly quit smoking himself (without the assistance of a PV) and was down to 2 or 3 cigs a day. Well, I got him to try using my auto PV--I'm using the manual one--and he liked it, but he was complaining about this pain behind his ears...like a stabbing, shooting pain.
What I've determined is that he is pulling on the auto PV like a normal cig, and he's using all of those muscles in his neck to get a decent pull from it. I've tried to convince him to use my manual instead, but he's too frustrated and nervous that it's the PG.
I'm assuming that others have had the same experience and I'm hoping that they don't stop using the e-cig and go back to nasty cigarettes because they weren't using their PV properly or weren't using the model that was right for them.
