I have read where some members take a needle and heat the tip. Stick the hot tip from the inside upper area of the cartridge through to the outside or just enough to make a bump in the cart going towards the outside. This makes the bump to catch on the atomizer and holds the cart snug.

For the 901, I found that a RN4075 atty accepts the round tip carts very nice and snug. Got these attys at Liberty flights and seem to out perform the DSE901 attys in vapor and longevity. And they are a bit cheaper in price Click the 20% off button on top left of page for discount.

I dont like whistle tips either so i just drip with mine. I love my 901. Personally i think i like it more than the 510
