I have noticed this, but another thing you may want to watch out for is hotspots. I had a hotspot on a .3 ohm build, and my 0.08 ohm build was a cooler vape than the .3 with a hotspot.

What makes you think that you had a 0.08 ohm build? It requires very expensive high end test equipment to measure resistance to that resolution and accuracy. Your hand held multimeter ain't gonna do the job. Even a 0.3 ohm reading might really be 0.45 or 0.15 on the average meter. They just aren't made for measurements this far out on the edge.

And that doesn't even take into account resistance in the rest of the circuit.

I believe that folks doing super low resistance builds really have no idea what sort of heat they are generating, high or low, other than by feel. And feel can vary by mood, time of day, time of month, sun spot activity, etc., etc., etc.

And imho it is all risky business, considering the chemistry, consistency, and quality of our power sources.
