Today marks two weeks for me of not smoking those dreadful analogs. I feel like I have made it over the hump, as I have not had any sort of craving in a couple days. Now I am not going to get ahead of myself, I am a recovered addict and know how these things work, and they can rear their ugly head a few months down the road. But with this it seems so different, as the times I did have cravings, I would just vape some delicious Nicoticket juice, and the craving would be gone. I cant see myself ever putting one of those nasty tasting things in my mouth ever again. I have too much to live for, Nicoticket juice included :vapor:

Congrats!! :)

I would infrequently get what I called "phantom cravings" through the first several months, where my brain would think it wanted a gross cigarette...but not really, not like the cravings of the first week or so. The brain's just a tricksy thing. I just had to remind myself, that I don't do that anymore, and of course vape some more. :)
I'm not even sure when, but eventually it went away completely and I don't have the slightest desire to smoke anymore....especially when I'm around them and I can smell how horrid they are.

Best wishes.

CONGRATS!!!:D

There are a few points that you need to watch for when out of nowhere my brain would scream CIG NAOW!!!!!!!! That was the first month, the third month and the fifth month. I wasn't like cravings so much as the brain returning to what is known if that makes sense. I'd be happily vaping and hanging out and they would hit.

It helps having everyone on here so you can talk about it...also having a bottle of much higher nic for those times.

Good job my dear!!! It only gets better from here! :D

Congrats!!! I've been off them for a month. I actually had a hint of craving for one today after dinner. Odd, but I just chain vaped some Virus and feel fine now.

The funny thing is if you had grabbed an analogue it would take one puff before you gagged and went back to vaping. :thumb:

Awesome, Nugget!

I fell for an analog craving a couple months in because of dumbly forgetting to pack my gear for work 1 day...bummed 1 from a coworker...went outside and lit it up and after first puff was spluttering and going EW EW EW. Needless to say I did not finish it and have never forgotten my gear again.

Congratulations! I had a few withdrawals the first few weeks and then it went away. I always make sure I have my Reo with me no matter where I go. I had to do some volunteer work Saturday and couldn't vape for almost 5 hours. It was the longest I've gone without my vape and funny thing was I didn't even crave it. It gets better each day.

Yes that is me in my avatar, but I am a bit older than I look....lets just say I smoked for 16 years, and I wasn't one of those 12 year old smokers, but I appreciate the compliment :) I am still young, I just freak out about my age sometimes because time is passing too fast
