It's been really rainy here for the past week and everything is kinda soppy humid..you know.
It seems that the high humidity (80%+) affects how my penstyle atomizers perform.
I bundle them up and put them in a 150 degree oven for an hour or so and they work like new for a day or so.
So has anyone else noticed this *damp atomizer* effect?

Not you guys in Arizona.. :)

It doesn't help that PG and glycerin's are humectant's, so any open containers of juice (ie the cart in your ecig) will soak up some of the moisture from the air, and water doesn't vaporize too well with these tiny atomizers.

I guess you could store it in a dry, cigar humidor type box, but with some sort of desiccant. The "crystal" cat litter would work, or a couple of those little desiccant shipping pouches.

But I can't see it being that humid to have to go to that extreme?

Have you tried pulling the cart and wiping off any condensation after it's been sitting? That might help a little bit.

I think it's more a matter of the air I'm sucking in while vaping being so saturated and the fact that I've been leaving the atomizers sitting out when not in use.

The humidor and desiccant idea might work for sure.

Probably just need to start storing them in a zip-lock.
Yeah, there is plenty of condensation on the cart's.
The humidity right now is 92% and not really hot enough to close up and turn the air on.
