Hi,

I found many steeping methods it's getting really confusing. Some guy says put it in the microwave, some guy says shake it, leave it open for 24 hours, then one week with the cap on, some other shake it and leave it open for 24 hours, then repeat the process for 1-2 weeks, etc.

Q1: Isn't there some tried and tested method that universally applies? I got some Hangsen juice btw, RY4 and Coffee. I don't even know if they need steeping, my throat is soar anyway and I am not tasting much of their flavors (some people praise them, so I assume the weak link is me).

And now about the storage. I live in Cyprus, 20m away from the beach. During the summer the humidity is above 80% and the "room" temperature is above 28 C (82.4 F). There is no cool dry place in the house when no one is around, and when we are around we like to stay at around 26 C (78.8F) but much lower humidity level thanks to the A/C. The fridge is the driest place in the house basically (but from what I read that is not good for storing eliquid).

We cannot leave the A/C on all day (that would be more expensive than buying a 15 ml 5 euro bottle of eliquid per day)

Q2: Where should I store the eliquid? What is going to happen if it stays at 28-30C (82.4-86F) and 80% humidity?

Thanks!

PS> I am analog free from the day my kit arrived, with no cravings whatsoever... I am basically high all the time since I am vaping 24mg with the frequency and intensity that I used to smoke, baaaaad idea. Not to mention my throat is so so sore. Still looking for my pace, large strength variety eliquid 2 days away from my house :) Thank you all forumers for providing such great advice and information! I consider this a huge change for the better (even if a little high on nic:p).

Hi! I'm pretty lackadaisical about steeping, so take my suggestions with a grain of salt. My common method of steeping is put the bottle somewhere and forget about it. Still, here are some random thoughts on the subject:

Q1: I doubt if there really is. I tried the shaking/cap off thing, but never really noticed a difference from my "forget it" technique, and since I'm lazy, I stuck with mine.

Q2: You can store liquid in the fridge, but I don't know how that will affect steeping. If you do so, take it out and let it warm up again before using it so it will wick easily. If you want dark and cool, that's certainly one way to do it. If you want less cool and have a yard or garden, I would dig a "steeping hole", throw your liquid in their, and plug it with a bucket of sand so you can get it out easily again. My father in law sometimes keeps beer "cool" that way. :)

Edit: PS. Congratulations on quitting!
