I've had shrimp that were still jumping around trying to get off the plate, but never fish that still squirmed!

No way! ugh, those poor fish! Being attacked and de-scaled with a knife then dropped in hot oil, then SERVED with (what looks like) hot tomato sauce all over it while it's still alive. That's just horrible. At least the snake got his head chopped off...

It likely was dead, like the snake. I've cleaned fresh fish before and the fillets themselves will sometimes stay twitching for a bit.

But I'm not eating it if it's still wiggling!
