Is it a 1s-6s or a 2s-6s ?

If it's a 2s-6s it won't check a one battery application.

Well I don't know how to use them properly but when I get power to pins 1 and 3 iflashes me a voltage for batt 1, then batt 2, then all batts. Power to pins 1 and 2 yeilds nothing.However the voltages weren't right, they were 6V and up and I had a 3.7 batt on.... They are really meant to be plugged into RC helicopter packs... I'll be glad to pass them on to you cheap if you can use them for something.

Use pin 1 and gnd (last pin I think). They cycle through each of the other 6 pins and show the individual voltage on each pin, or they should
