Yeah i want one too, but I can live without paying $62.

Having done some fairly intensive research lately into vaping hardware and juices, trying to DIY - my way to actually SAVING money vaping as opposed to smoking, I find the industry as such (apart from a few stores) ruthlessly profiteering, especially for noobies. I despise the HYPE and marketing of "the best juice in the universe" garbage.

These are real convenient, but not for that price. I have one because I buy cartos in bulk, and meter everyone when I get them. Makes it a lot faster. With my arthritic hands, it's easier than trying to wrestle with the two leads of a DMM and hold the carto.

I am looking to get one of these ohm meters too...but def not for 62.00 O.O
I have a multimeter and it works OK, its just that after 30 years of typing, ten-key and hereditary arthritic issues, my manual dexterity is pretty much shot.
Either I have the money and the meters are sold out..or...the meters are in and I have no cash loaded up on my card, lol
Eventually my timing will be perfect and I will be able to get one.....

RTD will be my go - to for this item.....

Why all the spendy-spendy for something you need to screw your thing into?

As a million others have said.... vamo, provari, K100/200, like a TON of mods have an ohm meter built in. Even if it was 15 bucks, well a multimeter is 5-10, a cheap mod is 20-30.

For those who find that they need 3 hands to use a multimeter, do what I did. I picked up an extra set of standard multimeter probes for a few bucks and a few 510 connectors.
I epoxied one 510 into a 9mm hole drilled into nice block of wood. That is my build stand.
I next cut off the probe ends and soldered the wire to the other 510 connector. This resulted in a set multimeter wires with the standard plugs on one end and a 510 connector on the other.

never thought about that, I have a extra digital multi meter missing the point off the red wire I can use that to make up a stand and a ohm reader all in one, awesome idea thanks for turning the lightbulb on in my head

Harbor Freight gives away cheap multimeters for FREE. watch the newspaper/coupon ads; magazines also carry HF ads with entire pages worth of coupons. maxim is one mag that has HF ads. the last issue has a coupon for a free Cen-Tech multimeter. look towards the back of the magazine. enjoy!

(sure theyre not the best multimeters, but for the price, you cant beat it!)

My understanding of electricity is any wire or object that electricity passes through has restance. So if that's the case the connector will add to the readings if the mm isn't calibrated to compensate for the connector. Now this could be totally wrong I'm not a electrical engineer. Maybe someone will know more about this than me

Nope, does not bother me in the least. People should have the good sense to shop pricing and confirm quality before purchasing. Ebay has become a Haven for thieves and most are smart enough to weed through them or go elsewhere.

Those that cannot be bothered to Use that thing inside the Skull(Brain) get what they get.

Simplest way to stop a thief is to realize they are and go elsewhere.

Probably won't add any resistance that would be measurable by a standard multimeter. Milliohms at most.

There is a how-to demonstration floating around here somewhere showing how to make your own using a $5-$10 multi-meter. I can't remember if it was on ECF or somewhere else. I'm sure a quick google search would lead one to it. I might give that a shot some day....

video ?? not pikkin' or anything but that is so easy to do, like the post above, every household should have at least 1 multimeter laying around..you can build a tiny little coil, you can make this..

There is a small difference in resistance but I feel that:
1) The difference is so small that it would not be measurable with the meter I am using.
2) This difference is partially offset buy the removal of the probe ends.

I am not an expert so please correct me if I am wrong.

everyone should own a simple MM for their own use outside of vaping. for $70 they want that POS you can get a pretty nice one with more features than most electricians will ever use. That said the market does what it does. anyone paying that kind of money for a one trick ohm meter is a sucker. I don't blame the seller
