I received my HV801 atty from Ikenvape, also ordered a 510 to 801 adapter because the PV I'm using is the Silver Bullet running at 6volts (2 aw 16340's also from Ikenvape).

The drag is long and smooth and running at 6v, the juice is right for me (@4mg nic). Atty doesnt heat up right away compared to the 510. Only downfall is the length but how it functions is more important to me. Here's pic of it: (gonna do a review on it after Thanksgiving)

I agree with you on all points. The 801 needs higher voltage to function well. The length?...it's long enough to be a light saber in Star Wars. That's why I mod them into Mini's. Here's a comparison to a regular size 801. If you are going to stick with HV801's, check out GH1. 3 bucks and a warranty. Modding the drip tip is less than a buck; great vaping for not much money

Parallex2, those are some awesome looking batteries. Can you tell me a little about them and where to get them? Are they made in China? What about charfers for them? Where do you get that short drip tip?

The Batteries are the Tekkeon Mod and The Buzz. The original version of the Drip Tip came from Madvapes. Never heard of a "charfer" so can't help with that.
