Yes he is.

I have a honest question. Why are people so obsessed with vaping cartos at HV? Please help me out here folks as I am very very curious. What am I not getting? Because although I have the capability to vape at any given voltage over a myriad of attys and cartos all with varying resistance, a carto over 7 watts seems just to hot for me. Not only in vape but the heat masks the flavour accordingly in exchange for a reckless TH with negligible increases in VP.

I know different strokes for different folks but I sure would like someone to make me understand. :)

I can't speak for everyone else but I'm happy to share my thoughts.

I realize that I can't have it all, incredible TH and incredible flavor. If you increase one, you will decrease the other. Just like on a Formula 1 race car, if you increase the down-force you will loose a little on the top end speed. So as the driver, you have to decide which setup will benefit you more based on which track you are racing on.

Many vapers look for "plumes of vapor" which is something that doesn't really excite me. The amount of vapor doesn't necessarily dictate the amount of TH or flavor. If I close my eyes, I won't see the vapor anyways but I want to feel what I need. Some vapers look for incredible flavor which is important to me, too. But the #1 thing I look for is the "reckless TH"! I am willing to sacrifice some flavor in exchange for really warm vapor and an insane TH. I don't like needing to vape the way I used to smoke. I simply want to take 3-5 powerful hits and be satisfied for the next 15-20 minutes.

I don't own any VV devices. All my PVs which I use throughout the day are mechanical. So, I'm stuck with two choices: 3.7V or 6V. I cannot find a 3.7V setup which can fully satisfy me since the most amount of wattage that can be achieved at 3.7V is 9.13W unloaded. As you know, with cartos it's even less. 7W just doesn't do it for me. If we are talking unloaded voltages, I need to be in about 10.50 watt range, similar to 3.5ohm atty at 6V, otherwise I'm chain vaping which is something I don't have time to do. Most cartos are not built to handle 6V. It would be nice to have one that's built specifically for 6V even if it doesn't last for more than just a couple of refills. To me, it's about a performance + convenience combo.

I hope this makes sense.

What mg are you vaping at? To me vapour is insignificant (in a way) but I simply can't do reckless. 6-8 watts.

In the morning, when my throat is "fresh" and more sensitive, I vape juices between 15-18 mg. Late morning thru the end of the day I use 24-26 mg juices. I have some juice mixed specifically for 3.7V with LR and those are 30mg.

I'm very surprised you haven't tried a VV Mod Vaporologist, just to check out some different in between settings of voltage watts and ohms,, lately I have really fallen for 4.3v-4.5v and 2ohm with certain juice mixes

Wow I created a monster LOL. I thought you were lower than that. Many vape around 12mg at HV and higher at 3.7V. Considering you are only taking 3-5 hits every 15-20 min you should be OK, as nic consumption goes up with voltage.

... as I. I found my sweet spot on the VV eGo to be just like a fresh 3.7V batt, 4.2V with cone using std attys.

I've been patiently waiting for that "perfect" VV mod. There are some great ones out there but they don't fit my style in the looks department. I'm a fan of SS...I've been on a pre-order waiting list for the one I chose but it seems that the creator is MIA and hiding somewhere in eastern Europe :) ... I'm still hopeful....

I'm really starting to believe that my real addiction is the TH and not so much the nicotine. If I could find a way to get great TH without nicotine, I really believe that I could give up nic all together much easier than I previously thought. Who knows, maybe someone comes up with something...........

I believe using alcohol in your mix of liquids would fix your problem Vapor. If your just looking to use it for a few refills, I would suggest trying the Mega 510 Drip-style. It is heavy, but if you keep it wet enough, (the ease of dripping) You should be totally fine. This cartomizer in general has opened the door for us and making a 6 volt version wouldn't be a problem. Stay tuned. :D

Hello I just want to say I have been using a hv atty from ikenvape exclusively for the last 4 weeks. I am really impressed with it, sad to say it popped yesterday.:( This was the only atty I was using. I am a moderate to heavy vapor at times, about 2.5ml of juice a day. I think I got some good mileage out of it. Don't misconstrue this post, I am very happy.:thumb:

No pun intended here. I found it is the vaper and not the liquid perse. I have used a variety of liquids, with a variety of ratios and straight Dekang, with success. I ordered HV liquid and basically all that was, was liquid at a lower mg e.g 12mg. IMO the flavour just wasn't there, which is another thing: more flavour + hotter atty = quicker fouling atty as it runs hotter.

I believe there is a learning curve to HV vaping and IMHO is not directly associated with the liquid perse. Prior to going VV, I was able to fine tune the experience with varying atty resistance. In my case using XHV for HV vaping which provided a somewhat cooler but most pleasurable vape. Some folks go the other way, using attys 1 notch below what they should be using, to get that reckless hit. What I found, burnt taste and too hot. Sometimes switching atty styles provides dividends as in a 901 vs 510 or 801. The 901 provides the flavour of the 801 while providing the warmth of the 510.

So as you might see, there is more at play than just the liquid. Hope this helps. :)

Sweetness!!!!!!!!!!

And Switcher, I have not read through all the responses yet on why people are obsessed with hv but I will explain why I have a hard time with anything less than 6v. Not great with words but will do my best. When I first started vaping I got dooped into the supposed free e-cig on the radio. I was sent the unit and a few cartridge refill packs and all were 0 nic. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with the taste and TH. So, I started to research for something with a stronger th. I started buying 6 volt mods right from the get go and every time I try something lower, it just does not satisfy me the way that I have become accustom to. Admittedly, I have a very addictive personality and now that I vape 6 volts and get that crazy th, I have a really hard time getting used to lower voltage. Also, I have spent months and months finding flavors that like hv and it seems like the flavors that I like at hv dont taste quite as flavorful at lv. It is pretty crazy that I get a better th from vaping than I did from analogs. I am hoping that eventually I will be satisfied with lower voltages but for right now, I really do not want to find flavors that I love all over again, I have spent way to much money and time finding a combination that is great for me so I will just stick with hv for a while and hope for a carto that does not get a burnt taste after a day. I have decided though, I will not be buying cartos the way I used to, it is just way to expensive at hv, so when I buy cartos, they will be for 5v or less.

It is definitely more than just the liquid but there are definitely differnt liquids, flavorings, and vg/pg combination that are a lot more hv friendly. 70pg 30 vg has been a good combination for me because I still get a decent flavor and I believe that the vg helps with the flavor being overly mutated because of the thicker viscosity. You are right though, one liquid that you like at hv could be bad tasting to me just because of the way that I vape.

Let me just say, I am pretty pumped to see the drip style carto in hv, I ordered a couple of the ones that just came out and am going to resist the urge to throw it on my 6 volt devices. I probably would not have resisted the urge if I did not see that Isaac might be trying the same design for hv.

I clearly see your point of view, and as stated you might find it difficult to go below HV and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, with the exception it is expensive on equipment and juice (go through more) and all that is cool.

What I did find since switching over to all VG was, that the vape is even smoother (read not as dry). What seemed to be lacking in flavour was subdued by allowing the liquid to steep longer than my usual mixes. I may have to increase certain liquids by maybe 1% in the future but that is pretty insignificant wrt loss of flavour all things considered as I sit somewhere between 10-15% on single flavours.

... and yes I do hope Isaac can develop an HV carto for the folks that require that type of hit. I have also read some folks take a toot once in a blue moon, well not exactly like that but you do get where I am going with this. I tend to take 3-5 toots in one tooting session before placing the PV down and that plays a large role as well.

Edit: If one cartomiser can be developed for HV vaping, I believe Isaac can pull it off with the dripper.

Hey Switcher, I was talking Dekang and wanted to give you something to ponder.
I was going through a bit of troubles the past 2 weeks with extreme drying of the throat, lungs felt like they needed to be emptied occasionally ( I can't describe that one, but it was like a Full feeling that was weighing down my chest), stomach pain and justa cloudy train of thought. I switched over to this not-so-good Ry4 that picked up from Health cabin a few months ago and everything I was going through just vanished...odd

About the allergy to PG, I have asked our Mixer about it before, the PG is wide use, there're two PG (Propylene Glycol)

in the e-liquid , the PG is just for food use, another PG is for chemical use, it can't use in e-liquid.

All the e-liquid we use have passed certification such as CE, Rohs, GMP and etc, we can make sure they're health and safe. There're two reasons for customers allergy to PG. I list them as belows:

1、The constitution of his/her Body , I mean everyone is strong or weak, they'll have different reaction to some ingredient, such as PG.

2、The dosage of the eliquid, this maybe the major reason for get allergy, when the dosage is high, it'll be a little harmful to body, that's why we don't make dosage more than 26mg. Over 26mg is not good to body. We suggest people enjoy 200puffs of e-liquid when it's high dosage of -liquid.

When customer have allergy to PG, you can suggest them to enjoy low or none nicotine e-liquid, or , they can start to enjoy VG for testing, if they still have problem, that's the reason 1 on the above.
