I agree I don't like cartos at 5 volts I tend to drip when I'm using 5 volts. I using platinum cartos from ikenvape on 3.7 device.
Yes he is.
I have a honest question. Why are people so obsessed with vaping cartos at HV? Please help me out here folks as I am very very curious. What am I not getting? Because although I have the capability to vape at any given voltage over a myriad of attys and cartos all with varying resistance, a carto over 7 watts seems just to hot for me. Not only in vape but the heat masks the flavour accordingly in exchange for a reckless TH with negligible increases in VP.
I know different strokes for different folks but I sure would like someone to make me understand.![]()
What mg are you vaping at? To me vapour is insignificant (in a way) but I simply can't do reckless. 6-8 watts.
In the morning, when my throat is "fresh" and more sensitive, I vape juices between 15-18 mg. Late morning thru the end of the day I use 24-26 mg juices. I have some juice mixed specifically for 3.7V with LR and those are 30mg.

I'm very surprised you haven't tried a VV Mod Vaporologist, just to check out some different in between settings of voltage watts and ohms,, lately I have really fallen for 4.3v-4.5v and 2ohm with certain juice mixes
Wow I created a monster LOL. I thought you were lower than that. Many vape around 12mg at HV and higher at 3.7V. Considering you are only taking 3-5 hits every 15-20 min you should be OK, as nic consumption goes up with voltage.
I believe using alcohol in your mix of liquids would fix your problem Vapor. If your just looking to use it for a few refills, I would suggest trying the Mega 510 Drip-style. It is heavy, but if you keep it wet enough, (the ease of dripping) You should be totally fine. This cartomizer in general has opened the door for us and making a 6 volt version wouldn't be a problem. Stay tuned.![]()

It is definitely more than just the liquid but there are definitely differnt liquids, flavorings, and vg/pg combination that are a lot more hv friendly. 70pg 30 vg has been a good combination for me because I still get a decent flavor and I believe that the vg helps with the flavor being overly mutated because of the thicker viscosity. You are right though, one liquid that you like at hv could be bad tasting to me just because of the way that I vape.No pun intended here. I found it is the vaper and not the liquid perse. I have used a variety of liquids, with a variety of ratios and straight Dekang, with success. I ordered HV liquid and basically all that was, was liquid at a lower mg e.g 12mg. IMO the flavour just wasn't there, which is another thing: more flavour + hotter atty = quicker fouling atty as it runs hotter.
I believe there is a learning curve to HV vaping and IMHO is not directly associated with the liquid perse. Prior to going VV, I was able to fine tune the experience with varying atty resistance. In my case using XHV for HV vaping which provided a somewhat cooler but most pleasurable vape. Some folks go the other way, using attys 1 notch below what they should be using, to get that reckless hit. What I found, burnt taste and too hot. Sometimes switching atty styles provides dividends as in a 901 vs 510 or 801. The 901 provides the flavour of the 801 while providing the warmth of the 510.
So as you might see, there is more at play than just the liquid. Hope this helps.![]()
About the allergy to PG, I have asked our Mixer about it before, the PG is wide use, there're two PG (Propylene Glycol)
in the e-liquid , the PG is just for food use, another PG is for chemical use, it can't use in e-liquid.
All the e-liquid we use have passed certification such as CE, Rohs, GMP and etc, we can make sure they're health and safe. There're two reasons for customers allergy to PG. I list them as belows:
1、The constitution of his/her Body , I mean everyone is strong or weak, they'll have different reaction to some ingredient, such as PG.
2、The dosage of the eliquid, this maybe the major reason for get allergy, when the dosage is high, it'll be a little harmful to body, that's why we don't make dosage more than 26mg. Over 26mg is not good to body. We suggest people enjoy 200puffs of e-liquid when it's high dosage of -liquid.
When customer have allergy to PG, you can suggest them to enjoy low or none nicotine e-liquid, or , they can start to enjoy VG for testing, if they still have problem, that's the reason 1 on the above.
