HV Passthrough Faulty.....Bummer.

I got my HV passthrough for my 510 today and I couldn't wait to try it out. My impression, Awesome!!!. This thing kicks my regular (one with a battery)passthrough's ....!!! One prob though, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think I have a faulty connection. I found that if I move the wire at the tip where the wire meets the LED CAP, it starts glowing red and starts working again. If I move it the other way it starts flashing green. I will be sending this back for a replacement. Be assured when it is working, it rocks!!!

Thanks Jon for sending that out before receiving the mine. I wasn't expecting that since it states on the site that once the defective is received then a replacement will be sent out. +1 for ya.

OK I got my replacement and tried it out. It glows red when the atomizer is not connected but as soon as I connect it flashes green. I tried on 2 computers a wall outlet and in my car with same results.

*Update*

It doesn't like the atomizer. I connected another 510 atomizer I bought from MyVaporStore and it works fine. Even though both atomizers came with the kit, the Passthrough only likes the one. Hopes this helps anyone who might run into this problem.

That was the next step if I hadn't found a fix through the forum. I hate sending things back, esp a constant use item! lol it's still occasionally acting up, but I think it's the adaptor rather than the pt. My attys are from cignot, if that helps any. I know you are not making these things personally & this is a relatively new industry. These are just growing pains. If we all just hold hands and look both ways, we'll get across just fine!
