okay, so just get the chameleon and I'm good to go with the 801? Geez

hey Frank I know this world can be confusing but once you get it down, it will all start unfolding into a beautiful vaping world of options and hobbies.901 is compatible with KR808 801 is wider than 901 can be used with a fusion cartomizer. A 510 is the complete opposite of both using a male connection and can be.used with a 306 model or any 510 cartomizers.

I have some of these coming and was planning on getting past the break-in period by putting in ten drops of liquid and letting it sit for a bit before firing it up for the first time. I read that tip here on ECF and it's helped me avoid the nasty atty taste of new attys. Will it do the same for the semi 801?
I would recommend 6 drops at the most Sew. Let it sit for 5 minutes and vape away and add 2-4 drops as necessary. Some 801 models do demand a bit more but all in all you shouldn't ever get a burnt taste but more or less an empty taste with our atoms.

Thanks, Iken. I can't wait to get 'em!

Hey, Isaac, how come your attys never get that horrible burnt taste? I just realized that when yours are empty, they get dry/metallic to some extent, but never get that lung killing burnt sensation. No wonder I like IkenVape atty's the most. I've never choked on one!

Atty Genius, why did you let me order all those standard 801s?? These shorties are BRILLIANT. The break-in period is - like the atty itself - relatively short in comparison. The taste is still there, which is weird because I thought it was the length of the tube that made that magic. And, the bridge is big enough that even I don't miss it and I'm just in love with them. Oh, there's nothing wrong with the standard 801s but, seriously, I'm kinda distracted by the semi.

All I ask of you is this one simple thing: close this thread so you don't sell out before I'm paid again. Please.

Edited to add: there's the semi, which is LR, right? And the mini, which is HV, right? I got both. Both are great.

Ahh good Doc, it's all about the environment really. Wheather the core is tightly woven or free to breathe, the surrounds always play a crucial role in terms of burnage.
That's why Isaacs cartos are all I use. He has taken his atomizers and cartomizers not just to the next level but beyond that with his magic little fingers to produce a product that is unbeatable. I keep telling people these are so much better than other vendors sell and can only be gotten from Ikenvapes.
Your the absolute Greatest 5Card!!!

LOL Sewn! The full size is supposed to give the vapor a slight cool down before reaching you to minimize TH a bit. The Mini is available in both 2.0LR and 3.5HV. I hear from a trusted source that Healthcabin's 801 drip tips actually fit them. So I want to try it and if it works, source it and discontinue the Semi series. As thier job is just to maker the shortened 801's drip tip compatible. Side note, we're working on custom drip tips ;)
The future of the Mini, is that we're dropping the overall resistance a few notches for the LR series ;)

Get out! On device #1 I'm vaping Bubble Gum with your LR standard 801 (2 ohms) at 3.7 and I'd peg the temp as lukewarm. If you dropped resistance by a couple notches to, say, 1.8ish I'd start singing. On my other device I'm running 6 volts for a clove/menthol concoction in a HV mini and its wonderfully warm without being too hot. (Life is good!) 3.5 seems to be the perfect sweet spot for 6v - hope you're not changing it.

Delrin 801 drip tips from COV fit both the shorties and the tall guys. Will try not to lose them as I wait patiently for yours.

Aw Very cool! I can only wonder where he's getting them lol I'm not too savvy in the accessory department as I have some products that I'm, actually more than what some guys are selling them for!
Your good Sewn, 1.8 is the magic number that we're going for. Instead of the basic IKV LR or HV stamped, we're going to start having them stamped with what ohm rating they fall in. Like IKV 1.8Ω.
The 3.5Ω isn't going anywhere as I'm sure we're all in agreement that they are indeed the perfect sweetspot for all 6V devices. Very cool flavors! Do you DIY?

Personally, I will be VERY sad to see the Semi discontinued.. The Mini is nice, but I have had issues of hot juice sputtering with them, liquid in the mouth, and a tighter draw than the Semi. The "Stealth" 510 to 801 adapter available out there is perfect with either the Mini, or Semi with bottom-fed mods.

The Semi is my atty of choice now with the REO Grand, and I have been telling others about them on the gianormis REO thread. The proportions of the Semi on the Grand is perfect IMO.. Is there any way that you can keep a small quanity in stock for customers that prefer the Semi?

I was kind of hesitant to post the link considering the forum..

Don't feel that way Techno. Vendor's sites are more than welcome to be posted here. We're all here for helping one another. I was looking into these a few days ago and seen that healthcabin has them. I contacted them but they were all sold out at the time. Good find!

Isaac my Dear man. I got the 510-901 from HC and the post is not adjustable and they don't work on any of my devices. The slot is a mimic and don't do neither region. <---- if you catch my drift. :(

Does the post turn? I have not really tried adjusting mine, but I know that it will turn...

EDIT: Iken... How about carrying a small stock of the Semi 801's? I (and probably many others) don't look forward to buying regular length 801's from you, only to take a tubing-cutter to them for Semi length..

Yes it does but not in or out, not up or down

I got some of those and the center post isn't long enough to connect both ends and they aren't adjustable as Switched said.

Are we still talking about the newer 510-801 or the 510-901 which has been around for a while?
