I am really starting to NOT like rainbow heaven. Why would they care what the reseller sells them for? One would think they would want to sell as many as possible, Vaportek is a big seller of Chinese mods. Its a bad move to blacklist them.

Between this blacklist and only selling to websites (no B&M stores or co-ops), I am not a fan of rainbow heaven.

It's a few of the larger vendors' fault for wanting to corner the market for higher markups IMO... They buy large quantities, and are "important" customers for Rainbow... More than likely threaten to not place orders unless the retail price is fixed..

I think it will be good. I mean they made the MKB-TS which was a hit from what I could tell. My iSeason is pretty nice too. Plus I can always mod it to make it better.

I have an iseason. overall the iseason isn't bad, but when you compare it to a k100 or natural the performance isn't there if you are using the hotspring. at least mine isn't. the pictures on alibaba showing the new bottom looks like the same spring.

Vaportek uses purchasing Ninjas to get inventory. They constantly sell things they should not have access to, and at prices well below suggested retail. They throw their finger up to everyone. As a consumer it gives us low prices, but there is some crazy stuff going on in the background. So Rainbow says Vaportek is banned, but Vaportek has 150 other company names on paper and eventually the buy will go through.

This is why one must use caution when buying from Vaportek. A lot of the inventory was obtained at auction. So it's factory seconds, and even counterfeits in some cases.

Personally, I only check out ........ for entertainment. Occasionally there is some real news, but really he's VaportekJoe.

It must be nice to have his job.

Wow - that's some pretty concerning stuff. How do you know all that?

Ok so I see vaportek has been blacklisted but what if you already put in your preorder? I sent vaportek a note asking but have not heard anything back.

This was on Vapor Tek's FB page:

Let me go ahead and address this silliness before anyone wakes up and thinks this deal is not going to happen. We have been through this before and it is preposterous that a manufacturer would go the extent of putting us on a black list. As a matter of fact, it is an honor to be blacklisted because it drives us to get the product even more. This is a joke and you can ask any of our customers if we have ever failed them on a Pre Order! Do not be alarmed from this. Sit back, relax, and watch what happens in a few weeks!! The bottom line is... YOU WILL HAVE A an ELITE mod in your hands!!

actually its more from the other side. they want product out the door not sitting in a warehouse. if one or two vendors offer a low low price, they know this will kill sales at other sites because people will wait for the lower priced places to restock instead of just getting one now anywhere. , while it wont kill sales it causes a slowdown of stock movement and this is unacceptable in a grinder factory with 500 people who need to keep working.

why all the hate for the guy? you're getting what you want and joe's providing a cheaper solution to people who don't have the cash to throw down on other sites or high end devices. i definitely appreciate what he does, because he keeps vaping more interesting and exciting to me since he finds deals where i can still afford some nice looking setups at literally 1/10th the cost of buying the high end originals. this thread's about the mod anyways, so i don't see why you've gotta be spouting your mouth about someone who's just trying to help people

I agree with that. Nothing wrong with cheap if it works good. And if it doesn't, not much money is lost. I'd rather throw away $20 than $200. At least that way I get to try just about any device I desire for cheap. And it's fun too.

The thing is that the clone isn't always exactly the same as the real thing. Especially when it is a new release. I don't think people should judge the way the real thing preforms when they get a clone that doesn't preform. There is a reason they cost so much and that is because of all the time testing put into making them a good device and the care they take when making them. They pay a lot more attention to detail and it seems like it is more about quality then quantity hence why the supply can't keep up with the demand. Or at least this is my theory. I am all for clones as it allows the people like me who can't afford to drop $200+ on a mod but want something that looks just as cool as it and preforms decent enough.

I was just stating that if someone gets a clone and it isn't the best, that doesn't mean the real thing is just like it. I had seen someone post in another thread about a clone and said that since it wasn't perfect that they were glad they didn't buy the real thing. I don't see how someone can base their experience of using a clone to what their experience would be using the real thing. And like I said with new releases, sometimes the manufacturer doesn't get it right the first time and after getting feedback they will fix it and after they get all the bugs worked out they have a decent product that is worth it.

oh ok, i misunderstood you. i would never expect a 20-40$ device to perform as well as a $200+ mech

My way of thinking. Why would I spend so much on a Original device over a clone, when were supposed to quit smoking, saving money, and becoming healthy? Id rather have more devices then pay for overpriced original mods that come out. Really $200 to quit? Upgrade? Id rather have $150 in my pocket, and spend that on my family. I have never spent over $80 (LT2) on a mod and never will. I appreciate clones and so does my wallet.
