I have also seen way too much on the dehydration thing and no real evidence that states the need to drink as much fluid as suggested.
Mild dehydration is considered when you loose 5% or less of your body weight
Moderate is 5 - 10%
Severe is 10 - 20%
I weigh approx. 200Lbs therefore 5%= 10 lbs water, 10% = 20lbs water, and 20% = 40 lbs water. Water weighs 8.8 lbs per gallon. Even with that in mind, I would have to drink 1.2 gallons of water more than I normally would if I was still smoking at a mild dehydration factor. I tried a simple test, I inhaled a strong hit ( full lung draw) and exhaled it into a 4" dia clear tube 60" long and let the vapor settle. I measured the depth of the vapor (11"). Next I did a full lung exhale through the hole in the RSST ( shotgun ) into the 4" tube. Remeasured vapor depth, 12", Im guessing the difference is that the shotgun vape was hotter, less dense.
Vapor density (optically) seemed the same. If there was a significant amount of water present in the vapor, something should have been quite different... there should have been more vapor, denser vapor, heavier vapor... something...
So my question is... are we actually loosing all that moisture due to vaping???
