Probably the last we will hear from Mike.
I always check the profile whenever an "odd" topic shows up. These type of threads can be interesting to observe how folks interact though, so there's some value to them.

I enjoy reading these kind of posts and the reactions are interesting. These posts seem to be coming more regularly and always from someone who joined today or yesterday. They state some absurd idea, like ole Mike the OP here or they post a ludicrous correlation between vaping and some ailment - frequently an ailment unique to the poster, rubberized teeth comes to mind. I find them increasingly difficult to treat them with much but mockery. Every thought and post does not earn a serious or thoughtful response.

Though, this troll thread reached second level status where members start turning on each other. I'm not sure how I feel about that. :(

I see your point, there will always be some tension between those who address the posts seriously and those who do not. I am one who does not take these posts seriously but I hope that I don't turn on those who do. If you see me do that, please assume that it was inadvertent and call me on it. I sure would not want a forum filled with people like me.

I try to keep in mind that there is a world of FUD regarding vaping out there on the news media, social media, self appraised do gooders parroting "things they heard or know", and folks come here for answers...I see the same reactions on other forums from longstanding members posting subtle or overt jibes to newcomers because they've seen it all before. It is never a good look from an outsider.

And the best way to deal with any malicious poster is to let them hear crickets...but that never seems to be the way things go.
