Hi does anyone know why my hypnotic mist tastes soo bad ? Made it with 10% flavoring and added a couple of drops of em? I can't even describe how bad it is? This is the second batch I have tried to make the first was even worse..HELP

Have you had success using the same PG/VG/Nic base with other flavors? If so, then I would assume your base ingredients are fine. I mix Hypnotic Mist at 10% and it tastes great. I don't add EM, Sweetener, vape Wiz or anything else to it.
I got be to be honest, I haven't figured out the best way to use it either yet. I bought it on a lark, just something to play with. I also find it tastes terrible at by itself, I think its more of an additive or mixer. My feeling is its best used with a tobacco flavor. Haven't tested this theory out yet because I am not a tobacco flavor vaper unless I am drinking. For that I have too much back supplies of gorilla juice, RY4 and a bunch of others I still need to get through, so haven't tried to DIY that yet.

I Also use Hypnotic Mist at 10%. Will add a few drops of TPA Blueberry Extra for a different taste. I don't add EM or MTS but do add sweetner (2%).
If your base is good and it's just this one flavoring then mix another bottle at 5% and try that.
It may be that you are sensitive to this type of flavor and less would be more for you. If it is too weak, then mixing the 5 & 10 together may be the spot.

Thank's everyone I think I will try to make a couple of new batches some weaker and with some sweetener and see how that goes, I loved this flavor from a popular vendor so I hope I can somewhat replicate it
I vape it all day long. No sweetener. 12% flavoring. 1.5-2% Flash, 1.5-2% Vape Wizard. 10% water, 20% VG the rest PG.

Even at 1% I find both Hypnotic Mist and Zen garden to be unspeakably bad. (*shrug*) Like their other stuff tho!
I was think of trying the Zen Garden as well. I'd like to see some reviews first.

That's why I bought it. I got it from 2 vendors. I don't think they added sweetener or anything else. Why don't you just try it plain first? At 10% it my mix tastes exactly like the juice I got from the vendors. I only up it to 12% because the Flash and Vape Wizard blunts the flavoring. I use the Flash to give it some throat hit because I vape 1% nic or less. The Vape Wizard increases the vapor production and sort of smooths things out.
Try your flavorings individualy and find the right % before you start adding sweetener and other things.
PS. Hypnotic Mist does taste funky and unpleasant when you don't use enough. I've mixed many bottles without enough flavoring but not a one with too much.

I first mixed it at 10% and it was ok but not the same as the vendor either. It seemed like it was missing something. I then tried a batch with 10% and .5-1% of TPA peach and that to me was the missing ingredient. With the peach added it is an awesome vape. You should also try that as I now never have to order this from the vendor. It was always one of my top faves and now will always be in my inventory.
For what it's worth I've mixed Hypnotic Mist at 10%, 70/30 PG/VG @ 12mg nicotine and vaped it straight away and found it quite agreeable. It's a mild sweet flavour, kind of a nectar sort of deal with a hint of tropical fruit in the background. I didn't have to let it steep or anything. My base (nic/VG/PG) is all from RTS Vapes.
Thanks Mindfield. I mixed some up last night using your recipe and tried it this morning. The flavor comes through nice and smooth. I'm still not sure I like this particular flavor, but then I usually vape tobacco flavors or some Vanilla and Mint when I need a change of pace.
I like it simply because it's a completely mild, pleasant sweetness that makes a nice change of pace from the more bold or sweeter flavours I normally vape. It's not quite a palate cleanser (I use Liquid Amber, Pandoro or Panettone for that) but it's just nice for something really smooth. It has a lot in common with Oba Oba in that regard. (They're both very similar flavours, but Oba Oba swaps the faint background notes of tropical fruit for something like a faint angel food cake type of thing, but still retains the delicate honesuckle-type nectar flavour common to both.)
I let the juice steep for 6 days and tried it again today. It was much better. The flavor is stronger than I remember the day after I mixed it. It is still very mild, with some fruity sweetness and a touch of citrus. This flavor is growing on me, and it is all I've vaped for the past 4 hours.

I am not a fan of TPA but I mix my Hypno with FA white peach...........YUM! It gives it a nice tart change to the standard peach. A really good vape

I make some tobacco menthols, tart apples, cherry and strawberry and things like that.
The reason zen garden and hypnotic mist interested me is because all of my mixes are pretty complex and I like to add floral notes. So, for example, my mix for apple includes two different green apple flavors plus honeysuckle and my cherry flavor includes three different cherry flavors plus cherry blossom, etc.
In general, the stuff I mix is very light on tobacco (I prefer seedman's Virginia, Flavour Art Shade as basic tobaccos), and overall light on flavor but nuanced. So a recent cherry I mixed up (6ml batch) had the following:
Flavour Art Shade: 2 drops
Blue Mist Cherry: 4 drops
TPA Cherry Blossom: 3 drops
Flavor West Wild Cherry: 2 drops
TPA Licorice: 1 drop
TPA Menthol Liquid: 3 drops
A 6ml apple I did recently contained:
Seedman's Virginia: 2 drops
Blue Mist Apple: 6 drops
TPA Green Apple: 4 drops
TPA Wintergreen: 1 drop
TPA Honeysuckle: 1 drop
TPA Menthol liquid: 3 drops
A recent 6ml Strawberry was ...
Blue Mist Rob's Blackjack: 2 drops
TPA Strawberry: 8 drops
TPA Cherry blossom: 2 drops
TPA Jamaican Rum: 1 drop
Flavour Art Vanilla Swirl: 1 drop
So I like to add floral components, and hypnotic mist and zen garden both looked promising for addition to a tobacco menthol.
My basic tobacco menthol for 6ml looks like this:
Seedman's Virginia: 2 drops
Flavour Art Shade: 1 drop
(added flavor, 1-2 drops)
TPA Wintergreen: 1 drop
Flavour Art Creme de Menthe: 2 drops
TPA menthol liquid: 6 drops
For the added flavor, I have had good success with green apple and honeysuckle, and I had hoped zen garden or hypnotic mist would add real interest, but even in the smallest 1-drop quantities I find them so irritating to my respiratory tract as to be unusable.
