Hi All

I started vaping around 11 days ago, its the best thing ever, banana nut nicotine ftw! However I am starting to worry I may have to quit vaping due to the following symptoms:

2-3 days into vaping my first juice, 50/50 VG/PG mix, i noticed a small light red rash in the middle of my nose, I didnt think too much of it but it is still here today, sometimes I can see it clearly, sometimes it is hardly visible. I am also continuing to developing random little red bumps and small red patches on my face, so around 48 hours ago I switched to ELEMENT e-liquid 80/20 VG/PG mix, but I still have patchy skin and my beard is itching as I type this...

Has anyone else had very similar problems? Apart from the above issues, everything is fine, from my google searches it would seem the common problem is a PG allergy, but if so, surely my switch to 80/20 VG/PG would be helping?

Thank you

Are you a Smoker that is switching?
Body Purging Toxins is normal and can manifest in many ways.

Possible sensitivity to PG or VG or a particular Flavoring agent.
It could just be your Body fighting to break free of Smoking's toxins.

Remember any Rash/blotches etc. will take a few days to clear so give time when trying something different.

For now, Clean and moisturize. If it does not clear up - Sustain from vaping for a few days. Go gum or patch to assist.
If it still does not clear up, see a dermatologist.

Just to add to the sound advice already offered:

We need to hydrate more than non vapors.
You're also detoxing from all the other chemicals in cancersticks leaving your body.
Our bodies need to hydrate even more while we're detoxing.

Also wash your hands and face more often.
We get juice on our hands when refilling and rewicking.
I live in a cloud of VG vapor.
I found that the cleaner my hands and face stay, the clearer my skin.

have you reduced/quit smoking?? if you have, then you may also be reacting to the cessation of the ciggies...
the body will purge the smoking toxins in various ways... pimples, rashes, bumps... I broke out in a rather disturbing rash over my entire back... lasted about a week and never happened again... and Ive been vaping the same type of juice for nearly 3 yrs...
