I know it sounds crazy, because so many members here rave about the benefits of being able to vape inside!

The first week I had my 510 I vaped inside, but I found myself missing analogs more and more as time went by.

I finally discovered that it wasn't just the chemical addiction, but my psychological addiction. I missed coming home from work every day and sitting in my backyard with the breeze and lighting up a cig.

I find that even though it's totally unnecessary, I really like to smoke my e-cig outside! It makes the transition from regular smoking to vaping a lot easier. Breaking the ritual of sitting outside for my smokes at breakfast, after work, after dinner etc, was too hard to do. But it felt pointless to go outside to vape when there's no reason to. However, I found that it's really helping to make me feel like I'm still smoking a cigarette by going outside.

Does anyone think this is ridiculous? I know I don't have to go outdoors to get nicotine anymore, but for some reason I still enjoy the feeling of "going out" for a smoke and being alone to relax outside. Sitting in my living room vaping isn't the same as on my patio!

Not ridiculous at all.. I do the same thing, I tried vaping indoors and it just doesn't feel right to me, so I still go outside, don't vape in the car, I stuck to pretty much to the same routines, I have a nice huge deck in the backyard that the same as you I love to sit out there read my book and vape.. So you are not alone!! :)

I hear you loud and clear. Habits are just that habits. I still follow my buds outside to get my nic while they get theirs. It's part of the habit. But I will say it's nice to have the option when it's freezing cold and the wind chill is negative 10 degrees.

I'm the same way. Most of the time, at work anyway, I still go outside to vape unless it's really cold or really rainy. It's nice to get some fresh air.

When I'm at home I just stay inside though. I live in an apartment building and it's just not worth the trouble of going outside when I can vape inside.

When I first started vaping I did everything just like I was smoking. I went outside every time. I think it helped transition to vaping. Then it got cold and I started really enjoying the benefit of not having to go outside.
