I've been ebaying since 2000 so I know my way around. Love looking for sleepers and get the best deals ever.
Over the years, mostly my purchases were for vintage/antique dolls so it's a totally different game.
One of my "favs" was getting a doll packed in used meat trays. I'm all for recycling but that's just gross to me.
I was big into the forums over there, for years. The mods cracked down and most of us old timers left.

Kind of depends who is selling and specs of the item. I saw a PT2 that had a "polycarbonate" glass piece... I guess it just depends. I use Amazon also, and I feel a better reputation on quality is there. Just depends who is selling it on ebay.
Got my ohm meter off there for 8 bucks and it's awesome. I also buy all my car parts that I need. I <3 ebay.

Not a Fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I do use ebay quite often as needed.
I have found in recent months, it is best to shop around first as many Ebay sellers are OVER retail and much better pricing can be found elsewhere.

I've bought a couple of nice mech clones that were reasonably priced and arrived quickly and as advertised. I buy all my Kanthal from ebay and some ekowool from time to time. I've also bought a few IMR batteries, although others have cautioned me about vendors selling counterfeits. I haven't experienced that (as far as I know - they all charge and fire as expected). I don't buy anything I have to browse for, though - miles and miles of the same stuff over and over and over gets old fast.
There is good and bad about ebay. Like anything else on the internet. I have had only one bad e-cig experience and that was my error for being dumb. There are reputable sellers. Does not take long to see which ones exist. Is it foolproof? No. Neither is ordering direct from China. You pays your money you takes your chances!
I like it. The # of transactions and positive-feedback stats are so important on ebay... if a seller has 10,000 transactions and a 99.8% positive feedback score, I feel pretty safe dealing with them. And chances are they will bend over backwards to maintain that solid reputation. Never had a bad experience... I have had to return a couple of items but never any problem.
I've been lucky with vape gear from eBay so far. I picked up a nemesis clone and a caravela clone (both by hcigar) for less than $40 each, and both are perfect. just make sure you check seller feedback.
