My stats:
I vape .5 ohm, with dual coils
I vape 6 mg nic
I vape around 25-30w

I've been home sick so I've been vaping a lot more than usual. Even when I'm at work, I drink a lot of water. I am just constantly thirsty.

I also take medications for bipolar disorder and mood stabilizers. I don't think these have anything to do with it.

Either way I am going through water and pissing like crazy. And not just water, milk, pop too.

Help?

You might be wrong on that and want to double check with your doctor as a possible cause. My brother is Bi-polar and he has this side effect. Of course we all know vaping is adding to the thirst.

Sort of related, I have MAV and take seisure medication off label use which gives me dry mouth and causes me to drink more often before I even began vaping so now I drink constantly it seems.

Just something to think about. Don't discount your medications as the cause just yet.

Agreed. Some of my medication can make me thirsty as well. Plus vaping as well. But if it's constant thing then get checked as well. That's how it happened to my friend. Just one day he was really thirsty and nothing helped. He got checked, bam, diabetes. It's okay if it is though, it's highly manageable.

depends it could be one of the signs of diabetes or depending on the meds you're taking (if it's Lithium sure..thirst is a side effect of that is dry mouth)

what do you consider to be a lot? if it's say a gallon a day for some that's not abnormal..if it's a CHANGE is what is your norm that we tend to look at...talk to your doctor or his nurse about it.

Try to stick to WATER if you can, drinking other things like soda, juices,or even milk can make you gain tons of weight ;) ........

I have the same thing, chain vaping+ meds that cause dry mouth as a side effect... I probably drink about 2 liters of water per day, I keep a small bottle by my side constantly, seems like i vape &take a swig re-vape+ take another swig.. and so on and so on lol ;)!

I live in the Mojave Desert and we have at least 100 days of 100+ temperatures every year. Health care providers and JT National Park rangers advise 4-6 liters per day if one is outside and exerting themselves. That was my typical daily intake until I began vaping but since then I have increased to around 8. If your thirst level and consumption have increased dramatically then as several above posters have suggested, seeing a doctor is a good idea.

Thanks for the concern, I have already had it looked into by my neurologist and GP. Diabetes and other causes has been ruled out and confirmed it's my medication causing the side effect. :)

I take several medz wich side effects are dry mouth when I started vaping I had to start drinking more. I have had my blood checked recently. But what I find also helps is a piece of hard candy doesn't matter what kind. It triggers you salvatory glands and makes you produce saliva. I also sip in between vapes not full out drink. That's just what works for me hope it helps

It also depends what you eat on daily basis. Some foods will force you to drink more water; so if you eat Chinese food that has a lot of MSG, then you will drink a lot of water.

And IF, and i hope thats not that case, BUT, if you have just won a life time of diabetes, then you diet has been out of control for some time now. Get your .... together.

You need to get your act together and eat healthier. Meds have side effects, some people will consume more water then others.

Stop drinking soda and all sugar based drinks till you see a doctor. Blood test is a must!

Hopefully this scares you enough to take control of your life.
