Thank you all yes I had a great time I went with good people lots of laughing and the fishing wasn't bad . I went more to just get away not so much the fishing .
Next year were going to be flown into a even more remote area . Good to be home running water is nice

I always wanted to do what I call real camping. Like make coffee in one of those old aluminum pots, have a fire and sleep on the ground in a sleeping bag. The only 'camping' I have done was as a kid my parents would take us to PA in a pop up camper. But you had home comforts, like showers and toilets, a gas stove and a 'fridge.
Us kids would sleep in the pop out bed part. My dad would say "don't touch the canvas or it will drip!"
We always had to touch it. It would drip all night until our bed was wet.

Funny about touching the tent and starting the leak. Been there myself many times. Grew up tenting all over New England. Even tented in upstate NY in January one time. That was just silly.

Ever since I watched Brokeback Mountain, I've hesitated for just a moment when someone tells me they went "fishing". I don't know why.
Can't bring myself to watch Brokeback Mountain.
Every time it appears on a channel guide, I hurry up and pass it up.
There aren't a whole bunch of great angling tips in Brokeback Mountain but one to be sure to remember is to always, always take the time to look in your tacklebox at least once while on your "fishing trip".
