I may have spent $500 in 2012, my first full year of vaping. I spent $271 on vaping in 2014.

Vaping expenses 2014. All costs include tax and shipping where applicable*

-Batteries: 4 Efest IMR 18500 1100mah - flat top $27.75
-250ml 100mg Xtreme Vaping nicotine base $105.60
-4 177ml bottles CVS Glycerin USP $24
-5 5packs Smok 2.0 ohm XL cartos $34.45
-Sigelei Zmax V5 $52.20
-10 Omron replacement tactile switches for Sigelei V3 and V5 $10.80
-1 Efest 18650 2000mAh battery $10.00
-1 stainless steel drip tip $6.00

Total vaping expenditure 2014 $270.70
Daily vaping expense 2014 $0.74

*expenses for items purchased in previous years and used in 2014 are not included. This includes and is not limited to two Sigelei Zmax V3s, lab ware, 18xxx batteries, Nitecore Intellicharger i4, IBTanked carto tanks, etc. Some expenses are not included because the items were purchased and used for other purposes like distilled water, electrical solder, etc. Cost of powering 18xxx battery charger is not calculated. Most items purchased in 2014 were not depleted in 2014. For instance, the nicotine base will last for most of 2014 and 2015 and the three Sigeleis may last for years.

I will be spending money on some cartos this month. I'm expecting a quadcopter to arrive in the mail today.

I've been cig free for 5 months now and my upfront costs have been around $300 since then. I'm pretty content w/ my set ups now. I have 7 various Kanger tanks and a couple of twist batteries. Also a couple of 650 mah batteries that I started with. I recently went 3 weeks without spending any money on vaping. I had plenty of juice and coils and was feeling pretty good about myself...I'm a frugal guy. I did buy some NET juice last week because I want to try it and taste the difference. But I am really seeing the savings in my checking account now that I'm set.

I have spent probably just under 500 since the beginning of October when I started vaping so most of my expenses have been just figuring out a system that works for me. It included a Evic, Sigalei 100w box, istick (back up set up), Aspire regular, Aspire mini, Aspire Atlantis, Mutation X RDA, 4 batteries, charger, ohms reader, spare tank for full size Aspire, case($10) and of course juice, wick and wire and coils for all the tanks. It wont slow down for a couple more months as I am going to put together a separate case for my Sigelei set up which will include new smaller coil building tools that will fit in the case and a couple more batteries and another Aspire mini for my back up setup... this way I will have two cases one that includes my evic and back up set up for work and day use in general and another that is a hobby set up that is for the evenings that will have my Sigelei, rda, Atlantis, 2 batteries and coil building tools. There is always one more thing to purchase on my wish list.

i have spent a .... ton of money I learned the hard way in this hobbie we dont have a vape shop around us so I had to learn the hard way . I got the wrong Mod to start now Im rocking a MVP 20 W its perfect for my needs, I bought the wrong rda I bought a Doge compition it has massive holes in it for pulling immense levels of air not muy game. I bought a magma a true flavor rda which is what i need seeing how I'm a flavor chaser so I will pick up a veritas as well but all in due time. I have bought countless tanks from 2.00 cheepo's to the 18.00 crappy pro tank 3 mini. i just seem to never get vapor and flavor together till i just started dripping wow I'm sold this is the best. a tool box and some cheap tools now I'm finally vaping the gear i will love.

I enter all my purchases in Quicken as Misc. which includes a bunch of other purchases. I've thought about going back the couple months or so I've been vaping and updating those purchases with another category but to be honest, I'm a bit afraid of knowing how much chicken I've blown thus far.

So, the quick answer to your question is "dunno". And the longer, more accurate answer is "I DON'T WANT TO KNOW".
