First off welcome to ECF,

If you are happy with it then that is the important thing. Otherwise according to their web site they do offer a 30 day money back, so you can return it.

If you do decide to return it and want to stick to the cig look alikes then I would suggest you check out Volt from smokeless image. It is an 808 not a 510, but you are not locked into just buying from them.

If you don't mind something bigger there are a lot of options out there depending on your needs and tastes.

Even the three-piece units (Joye 510, for instance) can be 2-piece units by simply changing out the atty/cart for a cartomizer. That one you have looks like 510 threading to me. I'd take the batteries down to the local smoke shop and ask if they have cartomizers to fit it. While you are there, buy some small bottles of juice. Even if yours come pre-filled with flavor, you can re-fill them with juice you buy and not have to buy their expensive (pre-filled) replacements. That will save some money. Most of us started out where you are...I bought my first e-cig from a mall kiosk...and paid too much for it. But it was a learning experience, and I passed it along to my sister after I got a better system. We all have to start somewhere. Good luck.

EDIT: DON'T buy their replacement cartomizers.....and if you signed up for some sort of a recurring charge for them, get out of it. Their price is high, high. Like I said, you can 1)find them cheaper, and 2) re-fill the ones you have....just buy some juice.

Just start reading around the forums here and you will absolutely learn, learn, learn...

I went to their site, and it still looks like a 510 connection to me.

Laina, if you CAN return it, I would, too. Their prices are outrageous for what you're getting. If you can't, don't sweat it....just learn from it and DON'T buy anything else (replacements of any kind) from them. Go to your vape shop....that's where you'll get some education and some quality stuff, more than likely.

The threads are about the thickness of a pencil, the battery bigger than a pencil but not much I measured its like 3/8ths inch diameter
I googled 808 and since it is a two piece not a three piece device I am pretty sure that is what it is.
Hi Laina. Welcome to the ECF. I like you went on my first purchase and picked up an "overpriced" slim kit. It was an rn4081 three piece kit. I found this out eventually by trying to purchase a spare atomizer that "looked" like the right one. The thing is that that expensive little kit kept me off of analogs for over a month, while I eventually grew tired of standing next to the charger while waiting my next vape, it did its job and kept me off the analogs. Each one of these things reminds me that if it where not accessible to me I may have just continued on smoking while thinking there was no viable way for me to enjoy life otherwise. You have your start, all you need to do(if you like the device as it is) is narrow down what you actually have and go shopping for a few things as you feel you need them.

What you have is NOT and 808. My vote goes to rn4081 OR 510. This is 4081 The NEW GP Double Deuce 22 Battery RN4081 and this is 510 510 Battery Thread - PV Parts/Mods ( open the pics for a good closeup view) the thing about it is that they are really really close to the same bore just the thread pitch is different between the two types.

My ultimate vote is that you have a rn4081, because of the two air grooves in the battery connector. Most vendors(in my experience) try to pick a device that has a viable track record and that they dont have to replace lots of parts while the are still under warranty. The Rn4081 models generally are good performing and are one of the first decent models available. At this point if you have a local vapeshop it would be a wise choice to stop there and ask to screw in a couple cartomizers to get a real answer as to what you have there. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

See I knew someone would have some answers for you. At least you can buy more cartos from somewhere else and do different flavors. I heard that someone got an e-cig from somewhere and had to pay a monthly bill for them to ship more cartos with their company. Almost like they got locked into a contract. I was tempted at one time to hit up the mall kiosk. Like these fine people said as long as your off the analogs it's a bonus. Stay strong and you'll find your perfect set up. I know I am still searching after a month and a half. I know I am driving the wife a bit crazy with the paper towel consumption.

Hi Laina,Welcome to ecf.you will find a lot of helpful people in here, and I would like to say to you, nothing you have spent thus far has been wasted. If it got you to take the 1st step, then it was money well spent.I was a heavy smoker and a heavy dipper befor I switched to Vapor.I could tell the diff in my health after just 3 weeks.I too spent money on items I was not totally satisfied with, but with the helpful post of the ecf members I was quickly on my way.I can honestly say that even though I didnt use my 1st equipment very long befor buying better equipment,I do not feel as though I wasted any money. Its a learning experience, and a much healthier lifestyle.Check out some of the previous post as they have some very good items sugjested. If you can return the ones you got ,then all the better, but if not, dont beat yourself up over it.It was money well spent.

Well, the pictures you posted don't look the same as their website, but it appears it is an 808 or 901 thread.

That is not an 808 or 901. It could be a 510.

808 batteries are male threaded and the cartos are female. 510 have a female thread on the battery and male on the carto
