I am new and I fell for the Blu.

A little backstorry, I have never smoked or used any nicotine product before. I just saw the Blu by accident and was sucked in by the marketing. I thought it would be funny to smoke the non nicotine cartridges during the smoke breaks or at my desk at work. I go out with the guys to talk during their breaks anyway.

Now I am reading all these bad posts on this forum about the Blu and I am concerned that it won't produce enough vapour to make smoke rings or do other smoking tricks. Do you see this as being a problem?

I never used the blu but i think it doesn't work for many because they're smokers for you it might be just fine

I started with the Blu, and I still use it sometimes. It is not as bad as people here seem to make it. There are better ecigs, but the Blu isn't necessarily a bad choice. Just keep it's shortcomings in mind when using it. i saw a post earlier that mentioned some tips to keep in mind, and I'll repeat them here, as they work really well:

1. Keep the Blu in the case sitting vertically. This will keep the atty wet so it doesn't dry out. This will help keep vapor being produced, plus allow you to use the whole cartridge.

2. Don't screw in the atty completely tight. Don't know why this helps, but it does.

3. When you attach the cart, twist it around a couple of times. Then remove the cart and remove any tinfoil on the atty. Then reattach the cart and you're good to go.

The Blu is OK, especially for a non-smoker who just wants to "blow smoke rings" and hang out with the smokers on break. But I strongly advise you to buy only 0ml nicotine juice and cartridges. Don't start introducing nicotine to your system now. If these things ever get banned, you could find yourself switching to cigarettes. Never starting is way easier than quitting.

Had you asked before you took the plunge, you'd have been advised toward much cheaper models that perform as well or better than the Blu. But you've got the thing, and for the novelty sort of use you appear to have in mind it'll do fine.

Since vapor for its own sake is the issue, you might try refilling your cartridges with no-nic, 100% VG juice.

As a side note since you dont use nicotine...... get yourself a bottle of vegetable glycerince usp at the pharmacy section with the ointments... dilute with distilled water and refill your carts... it will be sweet tasting due to the VG ... you can also buy some lorannes flavoring to add flavor.. you are able to vape for DIRT CHEAP because you dont need nicotine!
