i am new here and i ask for advice

Hi, I am new to this forums (i ask here because i can't post elsewhere sorry for that), and new to these e-ciggs I’ve used other e-ciggs but they are more of “advertising” things one of those fancy e-ciggs you see on commercials ect, I came across this site via reddit. I have a question see if you veterans can help me.

Ok, I don’t know if am considered a “heavy” smoker? I smoke1.5/2 packs a day depending my mood I was looking at the e-ciggs and her on the beginners I read about the eGo kits am pretty new to this I smoke Newport’s 100. I can’t smoke anything less than that If I don’t feel the throat hit of menthol am not good.

So my question is which kit if possible link me to it? Or all the parts I will need because I am confused with the liquid ones I would like to try those, but I don’t know what I really need or where to buy it.

PS: I am deaf, I was looking at videos but I could not figure out much of what they said only by the images. per i registered here to ask for advice.

I would avoid the tank systems but thats just my opinion on it. seems to cause flavors to lack well um flavor and throat hit and vapor. the 3 important things while vaping.

I would get one of the kits and a 5 pack or so of the boge 2.0ohm cartomizers. Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - Boge Cartomizers

The standard kits come with the battery (the higher the mAh the longer your battery will last - my 1100 mAh lasts me about a day and a half) , an atomizer, and some carts. The cartomizers remove the need for the atomizer as they are a combination of a cart (where you would put your liquid) and the atomizer (the part that vaporizes your liquid) so they take care of all of it for you. Less to hassle with and better flavors.

Liberty-flights.com has some reasonably priced starter kits (use discount code "ecf" for 20% off) that will have everything you need except juice. They have Ego kits. It was recommended to me to get a Riva 510 starter kit, and I have been very happy with it. There is lots of good advice here on how to fill your cartomizers so that you have a good experience.

I don't like menthol, but there are a lot of menthol enthusiasts here that can point you to some good ones. I would start with pretty high nicotine (24 - 36mg) so that you get the good throat hit that you are looking for.

ETA: If you go with cartomizers, here is a good place to get some. They are 15 for $20 + drip tips, syringe and free shipping. There is lots of advice here on ECF about cleaning them as well.

As far as liquids I cant really help you reproduce a newport as I am not a big menthol fan. Im sure someone will be along that can help with that.

I started with 18mg eliquid and smoked about as much as you do. However i smoked lights. I would order some 18mg for an all day type vape and some 24mg for rough spots.

There are ALOT Of vendors on this site that sell really great eliquid. Whatever you do i recommend buying from an eliquid vendor vs a hardware vendor.

there are a lot of good menthol juices out there, and a lot of bad ones too...

My favorite juice vendor, Rawr Vapor has a drop down menu that allows you to add menthol to all of the juices-

I used to smoke Newports also and have tried many menthol ejuices. The closest I have found is at Vapor4Life.com and is called “Dunhall Menthol Nobacco” under premium ejuice and sells for $12.50 for 30ml bottle, which lasts me about a week and I'm a heavy vapor. Hope this helps you and welcome.

wow thanks for all the replies and for the fats response novice question, as i haved used other eciggs that comes ready to use umm since am new to this and i get lost with the hoel atomizer cartonizer stuff.. the eciggs whats the difference? if i want to use liquid i get the empty atomizer? sorry if i don't make sense these type of e-ciggs are new to me.

An atomizer is something you would use with Dripping (where you litterally drip a few drops of ur ejuice onto the atomizer) and vape it (People swear this is the best way to get flavor/vapor) I use bottom feeder, my atomizer is on a mod and when I squeeze the juice bottle it pushes a little juice into the atomizer, so I dont have to worry about wasting juice or spilling or w/e. A cartomizer is a little tube with some white material in it that holds juice around some coils that heat the material (no it will not burn dont worry) and the juice vaporizes. U can get cartomizers in a lot of dif sizes, some can even hold almost 3ML of juice (which is like 2 days of juice on avg). I use Cartomizers on the go so I dont have to worry bout nothing ( no spilling or w/e ) and attys at home or in between classes (tastes a little better)

oh so they are like uh 2 different kits? or a kit uh battery can be used for both atomizer + cartonizer change it depends if u home or out? or u need 2 different batteries ect kits?

I recommend Boge 510 cartomizers on Ego (most people prefer cartomizers to atomizer + cart but you could learn on the atomizer and cart while you find juices you like). ANd I recommend you get a drip tip that fits which ever atomizer tube size you choose (I am not sure but I think the A size may use a 510 drip tip and the B size might use an Ego drip tip? I don't know. I use Riva 510 which uses a 510 drip tip)

Do not buy an Ego from Madvapes if anyone links that one. Two people have had problems with them recently. Their is a clone. Buy Joye brand only.

Yes, you can use a Cartomizer or Atomizer on anything that has a 510 connection. egos are 510 connectors, this is the most common connection, so most the popular stuff will fit it. And like 90% of the mods and stuff you come across (if your looking around) are 510 connections, Or you can even get adapters. So really can can use anything. ive tried almost everything, I just use some adapters (only cost like 2$) when I use an 801 (a much larger atomizer)

lol thats too advanced for me i got lost id rather start off with a kit until am more familiar with e-ciggs eliquids ect.

Can't go wrong with Liberty Flights.I have bought tons of stuff from them.They are always good,fast,and reasonable on prices for everything.I like the riva and the ego.Both are good with no learning curve.Mods and more advanced tanks do have a learning curve.If you enjoy vaping and want to step up you can always do that but honestly an ego can do the trick.

is this good? i want to try a sample so i can test diff juice and see what i come up with.

Very good deal, and from what people are saying Riva is a pretty good one. If I were you, I'd grab a Low Resistance atomizer as well (510) see how it compares, I prefer them, better quality hit.
