If you are killing 5 batteries a day, you must be doing some serious vaping,. Like others have stated, small and 18650 really don't go hand in hand. MVP sounds like it may the answer you are looking for, but even that may not last you all day at your pace and the batteries are built in, so you can't carry a spare battery and pop it in. The MVP can be found at a fairly reasonable price and has many fans on ECF. I'm thinking try one, keep a couple of your Ego's in case the MVP doesn't make all day, if you like the MVP and need to buy another to make it all day they are priced low enough that you should be able to afford a second one if necessary. Best of luck and happy vaping.

I think for size and the option to use 18650, the iTaste VTR really is gonna be the winner here. The protanks should also fit in the side without the extension though someone else would need to verify that. Personally, I'm still using my MVP v2 all day till my Vapor Shark DNA shows up and it lasts all day, even with some pretty heavy chain vaping at 10-11w.

I'd say you should definitely take the advice above and go to a shop though to try them out. Thought the MVP was gonna be big and bulky till I held it. There is a mod out there for just about every taste, just gotta balance size and power I'm afraid. Good luck OP, hope you find something that fits the bill.

I use the iTaste VTR with a 3400mah Panasonic battery (NCR18650B 18650 3.6V 3400mAh Li-ion) and it lasts a few days for me, but I don't chain vape. I do fill the tank several times each day, but I don't usually go below 1/2 full. I use the iClear 30s tank which top fills, and with a Smoktech air control below it, the 30s is raised up high enough so that I don't have to remove the tank to fill. Just unscrew the top and fill'er up. This is my most convenient mod. Literally hate taking a tank off and filling it from the bottom, also hate changing batteries. The other mods I use the most are a Cool Fire II and a kicked Hammer mod both with 18350 batteries. Usually have to charge at least 4 of those baby batteries every day.

I think the VTR is pretty small and love the protected tank arrangement, makes the whole thing very short, don't feel like I'm waving a wand. But on the con side, this thing is heavy! Here's a pic:

Notice how the top cap of the tank is high enough to take off without removing it from the mod:

I'm really dying laughing over here with all these replies. I've had to open a new window a dozen times to look up mvp-vamo-svd-apv-ecf(lol)- vtr-lmnop and q r s t u v.
O_M_G !!
WhazatU - laughing at your "waving a wand" comment because with my Vision vv spinner and Kanger protank ll I am either a princess with (whatever a princess carrier - a wand?) or a priest in the catholic church who waves the holy water over the crowd. I've been blessing people. Yes, my spinner with the protank ll is long long long, my biggest vape equipment, which, is why I'm just not into big things, or wanting anything big. I dunno, used to drive a G-20 conversion van and it was like driving a brick down the road, so maybe I don't feel like carrying a brick in my hand? lol - I've certainly learned a lot here tho !!

Ya'll have been fabulous on your advice.

WHAZATU doesn't even want to take a tank off and change a battery. Sounds like me, lmao, I don't even want to hold my heavy vape, I should hire someone to hold it for me. They'd be rich as I vape nearly in my sleep.
I'd love to get the power of a 18650 in the size of a 650 ego. I can get close to decently small with a mechanical but I've read advice that an amateur shouldn't go mechanical?

SIRSTEVE - I am a very serious vaper. (chain and anchor)lol Vape or die (I was in the hospital)- so my 35 year 2 pack a day turned into making my own fog and I love love love it !

I thank each and every one of you. I haven't lived on my computer since the chat day's of 1997, but since I've vaped, I read no less than 4 hours a day looking at photos and measurements etc,

yes - GRANDMAMAOF *5* - so far, my girlie hands feel like the MVP (box?) is too big, and dare I say, unattractive (to me only) lol
Afraid I'll get attacked by the whole forum here for the above comment.

And to whomever suggested I find a local store, first of all, NOTHING and I mean nothing in New Vienna Ohio is local, but yes, I travel and have no problem going out and about to hang in a real vape store vs. a local tobacco shop that is trying to sell vape supplies out here in boonieville-tucky-town . . . . . .
I'm getting close - I just know I am . . . .
Warm regards to all . . . . .Barbara

BTW and FTR I am leaning away from "box" lol and towards "stick" - and possibly something telescoping but I haven't looked at them much, closely. I DO prefer something smooth and slick looking. Clean lines, and LOVE the brushed finish. So, I can chain heavy big time at home with my 18650 and bring a smaller battery for when I'm out and about with a smaller mod . . . . . eh? yeah? hmmmm

My head is spinning. It's like toothpaste. Going down that isle is maddening. Who the truck needs 300 choices of toothpaste?
One choice dangit, IN and OUT. Shampoo - ONE CHOICE - noooooo - 300 choices of soap bubbles for your hair, stupid, so stupid.
Ladies, baby shampoo. You can't beat it . . . .

The issue with 18650 VV/VW mods is they are really tall. With a tank on them almost as tall as a water bottle. I use a Vamo V5 and I keep a spare 18650 on me and that will last me through a full 15ml bottle with half the charge left on the second battery. The box might seem "ungirly" but the large stick mods start to take on a definite phallic quality. I make sure to make jokes about it first to take the piss out of it for other people so they don't make jokes about me sucking on a dildo. You may or may not have the confidence for that but its something you might want to consider. It has a removable tube so it can take smaller batteries too but I finally went with the big guys because like you I was tired of changing/charging batteries all day so I don't use it that way. I find that despite having variable settings I tend to use it at its highest setting most of the time anyways. Its too big to carry with me on the go but I use it as my main vape at home. The smallest regulated 18650 device you could run like another poster said would be a nemesis mechanical mod (no circuitry) with a kick (small board that sits in front of your battery and regulates the wattage) You have to take the board out every time you want to adjust it but since its wattage instead of voltage you should get the same heat from every thing you attach to it once its set so you can just keep it dialed in around your favorite setting. This is what I do when I'm out and a bout and it brings the size down to a level I can keep in my pocket while keeping the 18650 battery life. I find that when i'm on the go I don't have time to muck around with settings anyways and so appreciate the simplicity and portability I get from sacrificing the button controls while still being able to set it to run my tanks exactly how I like them. When it comes to size you either have to compromise battery life or controls. I found that battery life meant more to me than controls. This is ultimately why I settled for 2 devices. One fully adjustable Variable Wattage 18650 device for at home and a Nemesis mechanical mod with a kick permanently set to my favorite wattage for on the go. The Nemesis will be a little fatter than your spinner but that's about it. You can buy a Nemesis clone and kick for like 40 bucks. This is the set up that got me out of battery swapping hell. What I'm starting to realize though is a box mod probably is the most portable way to cram everything (huge battery, lots of control options) in one device. I think if you get your self a stick mod and mech mod you'll be happy to find yourself free of the battery nightmare but the size is going to make a box mod look more and more appealing to you day after day because of its compactness.

I would also suggest the MVP 2. It performs like a dream, and the battery lasts for a couple of days without needing to be recharged. I went from using Vision Spinners to the MVP 2 and I love it a lot.

It is a box style, but very comfortable to hold in your hand. Everyone who has gotten one here seems to like it very much. There is an MVP owners group which will give you more info and you can see what people think of it. I would suggest starting at the end of the thread, because it's really, really long:

iTaste MVP v2 Owners Group - Page 632
Guys and gals, more help pretty please, very much help, thank you, man O'man lol - so, my problem is, the "Mechanical Mod" - like, today, ran a quick errand, grabbed my original pink 650 threw on my Kanger quickie tank and was happy, plain ole'happy. So, I as once in the market for a clone mechanical mod and one post, one single solitary post on another thread stating that mechanical mods should not be in the hands of newbies etc. I guess I'm a newbie, in vaping only. I'm old as dirt otherwise.
But seriously, a mechanical mod for me, would consist of throwing a tank on and tah'dah. done - I don't sub ohm etc. I can build my own but what the hell, I just spend the cash for coils. 2.25 for my sweets and 1.8 for my all day vape of menthol. Will the mechanical mod be consistant, because my 650 sure isn't. At first it's lovely but tapers off much too shallow and quick.
I love your help, I really do, and the wit of ya'll too. So, also, the strongest battery is the 18650 correct? Couple of those and a couple mods and I'm simple and set? yes? I love the clones, sleek and pretty, however, I don't necessarily need a clone, I can purchase authentic depending. I have the budget, I just don't like to let go of my money lol
Thank ya'll so very much !

Wow, come over and we'll go together tomorrow to take care of it all. lol
You are spot on - spot on - its so much reading and learning, who knew, I had no idea really.
******One fully adjustable Variable Wattage 18650 device for at home****** If I may ask, which one is that?
Another suggestion from a member is to go to a shop and hold a few, god dang, "hold a few", I can just ask my husband to "measure up" hahaha - Men aren't so sure of size anyway, don't they have a ton of confusion about "inches" lol
The kick? I get that, my shortcoming now is, consistency? There is another way of stating it in vape terms I believe, but you know, same power throughout the session of that particular device, no drop, there ya go, elementary lingo, NO DROP. I ran with my 650 today because I knew my errand was going to be quick, and I'm back to my 1.8's - I changed to 2.25's recently and it was one boring long week. Who knew, I thought they were burning my sweets, and they were, so now its 2.25 for sweets and 1.8 for menthol all day.
Thank you so much for your reply. Learning slowly but surely. The choices and the opinions and endless, as is the hobby aspect of it making it more confusing. And I am beginning to love the hobby aspect. Thing is, I don't have my husband on board yet and he's actually tired of hearing my current level of "knowledge" about this and that pertaining to vaping. I've listened to him and his rebuilding cars and engines and RC airplanes and Navy and F14's and . . . . . . b-r-e-a-t-h-e ---ahh ha

A good friend last night told me he is going to talk to his Dr tomorrow about vaping. I laughed and got mad. I told him I know more than the Dr. - - In vaping, I DO. There is ZERO wrong with vaping, and don't even tell me nicotine this and nicotine that because I probably just sipped a ton of poison and junk in my last taste of pepsi not to mention my hormonal meat that they sell in the market or the acid laced steak in the news two weeks ago, or caffeine the world has to have to keep on spinning.
If he ask his Dr and comes home with negative news , I might be on the news going postal on his Dr? lol
Regards, enjoy your Sunday

You can't get "small" and "long lasting battery life". There are no small 18650 PV's out there. If your highest priority is battery life then you won't be happy with any battery smaller then a 18650. There are large and larger 18650 PV's out there along with mid weight and heavier PV's.

What don't you like about the MVP ? It's box style ? It's overall size? If you don't want a box style then you are looking for a tube style. Honestly, it's common for people that haven't vaped for long to think they could never be happy with what they see as a large PV find out that as time goes on they don't mind a larger PV at all. :) Some people continue to use smaller PV's when they leave the house but the large PV's when they are in the comfort of their own home. :)

A suggestion for you may be to choose a 18350 battery size PV, (I'd recommend a Zmax mini) which is smaller in length then a 18650 PV. It won't give you longer battery life, or least not by much but it would give you the chance to get used to something larger so moving up to the 18650 size wouldn't be so overwhelming for you. :) Do you have any Vape Shops you could visit to see and hold some 18650 vv PV's ?
You are spot on also !
I will soon take a trip to the queen city to see what kind of debt I can acquire this time. lol
Not debt, just kidding, cash only or nothing at all.
My vv rainbow spinner is ok, and a kanger protank ll on it makes it pretty long and thin. I don't usually like to take it with
me because of size. I ran an errand today with a newly charged 650, quickie kanger tank and was good to go, ONLY because I
knew I wasn't going to be long, just sucking in the vehicle there and back mostly.

So the spinner is good and long. Some man soon, lemme rephrase that, some woman soon, will probably
invent the littler one for us gals lol with all day power.

I DO see myself doing just what you say also -
*********Honestly, it's common for people that haven't vaped for long to think they could never be happy with what they see as a large PV find out that as time goes on they don't mind a larger PV at all. :) Some people continue to use smaller PV's when they leave the house but the large PV's when they are in the comfort of their own home. :) **********
Have a wonderful Sunday

Barbara, I am another female pushing for the MVP 2. In addition to all the other attributes folks have mentioned about the MVP, consider this:

I hold mine in my hand and use my second thumb joint to press the fire button. It looks just like I'm using a walkie-talkie, and it amuses my grandchildren tremendously.:D

My daughter asked if I was speaking to all those cigarettes I don't smoke anymore.

I have the mvp but it's not my favorite because of the shape, just doesn't work well in my hand, but that's just me. It lasts a long time and everyone seems to love it. I prefer the cylindrical shape like the zmax v2. Even though it seems huge when you get the 18650 batts in at first you get used to it quick. It lasts all day and when it gets low you pop in another battery. Out and about I usually use my spinners. The zmax mini works well also. https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10006734/1541304-authentic-sigelei-zmax-v2-variable-volt-watt

Love your humor Barbara :D

You are learning :toast: You've discovered you like your sweets at 2.25 and your menthol at 1.8 :) You know you wish consistent power. You're making progress :)

Everything you've said sounds to me like you would be happiest right now with a vv device verses a mechanical. The vv would allow you to change voltage for your different juices simply by changing the setting which is easy to do. You mention wanting consistent power, and that comes with vv not with mechanicals (unless you are using a kick). Unless you are using a kick, with a mechanical the power decreases as the voltage of the battery goes down.

When it comes to mechanicals practicing battery safety is very important but not difficult to learn. Its not rocket science. Basically, only use the correct batteries, use a reliable charger, spend some time recognizing when its time to change your batteries, If you are building your own coils test them to be sure they are ok before using them. Basically you just need to be more aware of what you are doing because your PV isn't doing the thinking for you, you have to do it for yourself. :)

I remember back to my first few months, I could imagine some day using a tube mod MAYBE but thought I'd NEVER own one of those ugly box mods. Right now I have 8 box mods in my collection  In the long run function won out over form :) Although I really like my tube mods too :)

Enjoy your trip to the vape shop :D I do wish I could join you, betting that will be fun trip :D

Mercy me, that is pretty and right up my alley. I like the black one. Black makes our butts look smaller right? Same goes for shine mod? lol
Looks like the city is going to wait quite some time as the young parents called me and said puhleeeeze take this lil monster off our hands. Usually I keep her, my grandbaby, for days. Not mod shopping but definitely toy and shoe shopping. TY for the ***Shine**** suggestion. I think I'll get that black; even probable, sight unseen, doesn't matter anymore ..
Much sunshine and happiness in ya'lls lives today !
Barbara

I replied, and it's lost? I was saying, I don't think the MVP is for me. Maybe my problem is the battery? Maybe my query should be more along the lines of "what battery", and then I could "mod shop"?
I want a battery that lasts a chain vaper all day . . . . and is constant.
I noticed a lot of "mini" mods. I loved the lavatube until I saw how huge it was. . . and I really adore the evic (I forget evic's size tho)
So what should a chain vaper look for in the way of battery strength and life instead of the mod itself? Lot to learn here ! crazy - all I want to do is vape, this is driving my non vaping husband insane. He's so bored with my vape talk lmao - I've tolerated his . . . . .nevermind, wrong forum teehee
Warm Regards - Barbara

If you want a battery to last a chain vapor all day the MVP2 is the way to go. (I'm a chain vapor too)

For now, until I shop around more, I picked up a few more spinners. I have the rainbow original vv 1300mah and I noticed the spinner was coming out with the spinner 2 1600mah vv so I grabbed one for the interim. I don't know how, I thought I read the release isn't until 4-30, but I grabbed it and myvaporstore.com got it to me right quick ! The spinners generally last me 12 hours.
They're really pretty. The new button changes color depending on the percentage of your battery you have left. Of course, also, it fits all my tanks.

Importantly though, many people may not take seriously, it is suggested to get the "Charge this battery using a Joye eGo Rapid USB Charger"- I did.
Accidentally, I put another spinner on it and would not get a light at all. Surprising how little comments by sellers are more important that amateurs may think.
I got the Spinner 2 and picked up another Spinner 1300.

My local "tobacco" shop is trying to sell vaping supplies. I've taught them a lot, and their stock is growing by leaps and bounds. Their prices are wonderful also. We live in a severely economically depressed area. Our folks out here roll their own tobacco and grow it too ! Tobacco fields are common out here. At any rate, trying on/sizing other mods to my hand was suggested here on the forum, and why didn't I think of that. Absent minded. I did and was surprised still at the immense size. I have however, settled for the itaste MVP "shine edition" with the girlie crystals, but have put a hold on my spending as a family member lost their job and we are supporting two families and two separate houses, ouch !
Regards - have some sunshine :)
