It makes more sense to adjust your voltage or wattage to the ohms of your topper than the other way around. As far as other toppers, I'm fond of the Anyvape Davide. Lots of people like the Nautilus. The mini Protank 2 also works well. If you can afford to, the best idea is to try a couple of different types.

I would avoid dual coils on the VV v3 because the use up the battery twice as fast for a very small improvement in flavor and amount of vapor.

i have the same device and i have been told that they tend to run higher then most other batteries. i run all my settings low on it tho. i have a 2.0 ohms with the volts at 3.6 and my other tank is running a 3.0 ohms with volts at 3.9. they taste great. i use the kanger evods because i used to always break my glass kanger mini protanks.

also if it is flooding a lot or leaking its time for a new tank or different tank or your juice is to thin for the coils you have. i have learned a lot of the don't for this battery its a particular thing to use but i love it to death. mine has been in use daily since january.

I also have the v3 and fell in love the first hour! Problem with me is i'm not enjoying the nautilus mini at all (waiting for new tank to arrrive) I'm running at 7w only because it seems it is all the nautilus can handle which really irritates me as i found that i love 8watts. I'm really curious as to how people can go at higher wattage with the v3 and what you would have on it that can handle that. I'm NOT saying i want to go up to max lol, NO just that i found that YES i love more oooomph and I wont crave an analogue.

Orchid - I usually like lower vapes, and keep most of my kanger tanks at about 6 or 7, but I have found that the Nautilus Mini doesn't give me flavor or vapor unless I am at 9 or 10. I use mine on my vv3 a lot. I use the 1.8 coils for the mini. You might want to try it.

I did try it! as in up the watts because i really don't like the nautilus much at all. Ordered a protank 2 mini, i was worried the protank 2 would be too big since the nautilus mini is as big as i want. protank 2 is bigger than the naut mini isn't it? ANyhow, got of subject sorry lol, I don't think the nautilus has any flavor which is why i do not like it and when i upped the watts it ALMOST did but the thing even with the v3 on 8 turned my juice nasty dark and fast, also why would using the nautilus on an 8 not only do that but make my ejuice sooooo thick, This is why i said seems the nautilus mini can't handle over a 7 (does it on a 7.5 or on an 8) and I really can hardly stand even using it because of this.
also, i have a 1.8 coil in it
