I am such a clutz!

Well I knew sooner or later it would happen, I am so uncoordinated. I dropped my black battery on the way in to work today on the asphalt parking lot. Not a big deal but the "ash/end cap" popped off and rolled away.

Being the same color as the asphalt I spent 10 minutes looking for it but couldn't find it. The battery is fine, but now I feel stupid... I didn't want anyone seeing me using it without the cap (is that vanity or what)?

Anyone found a solution that works for a "replacement" cap, or should I just set this one aside until one of the others dies, and scavange it.

I suppose it could be a reason to order a stealth, but I really don't want a Auto and I have kinda hit my budget cap for the month.

I've read you may be able to use the rubber white tip from the cartos - they may be too long though. Or you could slip a condom on it... sorry, that made me giggle.

PM me your address, I have extra Ash Caps and they pop right on! Outside of that you'll want to slide a condom over it...to protect the circuit board......if it's an auto battery make sure to poke a hole in the bottom of the cap.
