I have several eye dropper glass bottles that are crap since I rarely use a dripper. I bought a load of 30 and 50ml plastic bottles out of eBay and use those. I mix and steep my mixes 100ml at a time in wire top glass jars then transfer into the 30's, the 50's are for my wife so I don't keep on refilling her bottles as often. I may live in a small town but we have a apothecary and they supplied me with all the 50 and 100ml amber and clear bottles I want cheaper than I can order them online. I did find some cobalt bottles in a health food store but they wanted $3.50 for a 50ml bottle and it comes with a eyedropper...YUK.

Anyone else find the eye dropper cause nothing but grief lately?

Yes. Encountering same problems, caps that will not come off and ejuice running outside the glass eye dropper.

I used to mix essential oils and bought "good" quality bottles. Never had this problem. Most all the good companies that I buy the ready made essential oils from work fine, too.

So, I suspect the bottles are being ordered from some cheapie places in PRC where the quality control just isn't good.

Getting them from a local apothecary is probably a better idea.

Ive had bad luck with plastic and glass for a bit now. I thought the dropper thing was just me. When i shake any glass bottles to mix,it leaks,AND even the nic solution, still in the plastic bottles they came in leak when im shaking them. Its become a mess to add to my already frustrations of learning to diy my juice :(

...using glass bottles to put my finished juice in. From glass bottles with child proof caps that no longer come off, leaking glass lids, filling with the eye dropper and it running off the outside of the eye dropper, leaking in my coat pocket and a host of other grief they cause I ordered 100 new 30ml and 20 50ml plastic bottles. I get the glass ones for free from the vape shop because that is all you can buy it in Canada. Still have about 75 glass ones used only one time and in recycle bin they will go. Very few vendors sell just in plastic bottles of the past. More and more top fill tanks out now where eye droppers just plain do not work.

Did other countries go to all glass bottles?

CHEERS!
I use 30ml Unicorn for RTA's and Glass Droppers for Dripping.

Most high VG comes in glass these days, waste of money if you ask me....

I often use 10 or 15 mL glass dropper bottles because of convenience, with plastic I have to ~count the drops when dripping. The dropper can even sit on its side with the tip in the air while putting stuff into the bottle vs. 30 mL ones tip over. But I'm having the leak and drip problems with a recent 30 mL purchase.

My least favorite are plastic ones I bought for DIY, which have friction all the way out the thread so the childproofing is much more noticable. I WILL pay a little more for non-childproof next time if possible.

I mix and Steep in Glass bottles then transfer to plastic squeeze bottles for storage. For use, I now use unicorn bottles

    yesssssss^

this is what i've been doing as well. glass is friggin' classy but it isn't worth it for daily use. especially when you can practically use plastic one handed and with way more precision.

last night i was vaping outside and hit my bottle against the door frame coming back inside on accident (it was a full 120ml glass bottle) i almost had a heart attack. luckily it didn't crack though.

another qualm i have with glass is when you're putting the dropper back in the bottle, it's like playing the board game operation, especially with more viscous juice.

Actually,it's the opposite ;) .... all of Europe will soon be going to ONLY PLASTIC 10ml bottles as soon as the EURO TPD is implemented in the various countries (at the latest May 2016)

That will forcibly reverse the current trend here : over the past few years we have gone to mostly all glass +eyedropper 30ml bottles (most popular apparently ?)

Apparently the scientists claim glass is better for conserving aromas and avoiding degradation of the liquids (nic, flavors etc.)

I agree on the eye droppers.. being older my aim is already bad.. no add a glass eyedropper and well.. its never good. I really like the vape shops that sell the plastic bottles with these really nice plastic needle nose type tips.. great for getting juice where you want it on the RDA's and makes it a breeze to refill the sub ohm tanks. When they go empty I save them.. wash them out really good and transfer the juice from the big glass bottle eye dripper ones to these.. works great.
