I was vaping for a long time and then my setup changed with this new thing and that new thing and this new device. The last setup I had was tanks. vaping was becoming not as convenient as it seemed so I went back to cigs. I want to stop these dam things again but need a away to keep it simple again. I was thinking of getting one of the commercial products available locally so off I run out can go to store and not have a ton of stuff everywhere in the house. Is the a simple system with cartons prefilled that will work for me or something else simpler. I need simple like buying a pack of smokes that works and is cost effective

Since simple and money is a Main Concern right now, I would suggest getting an eGo Twist 2 Battery Starter Kit and a couple packs of Pre-Filled Cartomizers.

That way you can start the Ramp Down off analogs.

When you get more in Rhythm e-Cigerette-wise, you go branch out into Filling your own Cartos and perhaps think of a PV that has a little Longer Battery Life.

Smoking Analogs is a hard Monkey to Get Off Your Back. But if I can Do It, so can You.

I would say skip the prefilled You can fill your own for a much better price. You can do it for 1/4 of the price look up the condome method on youtube very simple you can have a weeks worth of carts filled in an hour. As DC2 stated a 510 dripping atty is truely simple for home use. 6$ for a joytech no need to get exotic standard resistance is sufficient.
These two things ay all you need and a couple of ego batteries and you are ready to quit smoking. Stick with that for a few months and then if you feel like you want to try other things go for it.
I would say those of us who have branched out in to the advanced and or exotic how ever you want to describe it have made a decision to become vapers we have replaced vaping with smoking.
No need to make that decision now just getting off cigarettes is the goal right? Any one who says its easy has selective memory. Vaping can be frustrating ,a pain in the you know what, But its the best way we have to get off of cigarettes. Good luck and hang in there.

I'm in the same boat, it got too confusing and complicated. I started smoking again. But I found the easiest thing to do was get out my silver bullet, stick with 6v, and a carto- with one juice that you like. IT's hard when there is so many options but I think that if you just have one set up, that gives you a good hit, (like a silver bullet 6V), then it's not that hard and it makes life easier. Good luck.

Theres also the addiction to remember. If it were as simple as just waking up one morning and saying I quit there would be no problems. You have years of Mental physical and behavioral habits to over come. Its the easiest thing in the world to find an excuse to not do something that's how addiction works. Dont give up is the most important step you can take each and every morning when you wake up.

I was stinkies free for years. The problem became that I had evolved to tanks and some other mods I ended up having so much stuff that the fun part of this went away and it became a pain charging this carrying that. I want simple and reliable and cheap lol. That vmod looks pretty cool. Was hoping by now there would have been something real simple. charge battery screw something on set for the day. wake up and repeat :)

Had a relative come over and bought one of the blu kits from Walgreens and loved it. But I remember that those type of kits were not for the long haul.

welcome back. i hear what you are saying about keeping it as simple as buying a pack of stinkies. do you still want the cig a likes, or a pv(personal vaporizer)? for ease, the 808's others will have good recommendations as soon as we know your preferences. best of luck, so glad you are here, we can help keep you off this time for good. congrats on the decision.

Although my username states that I FinallyQuit, I finally started back. I got too into it, too fast, spent a TON of money on a bunch of stuff I didn't like or need, a bunch of juice that tasted like yuck, then tried DIY because I could make yuck for a lot less than I was buying it for. . .and one day I picked up a pack of cigs. Laid down vaping for almost a year. Now I'm trying to come back as well.

Trying to exercise a little self-control this time around. Remember a few things:

Pick a device that won't let you down too quickly [like the ego-T did to me] but don't spend a ton of money on something if you don't think you can stick with it. Have a backup in case of device malfunction or battery failure.

I had to stop looking for the Holy Grail of juice and just picked something that tasted good enough, that wasn't horribly expensive or had a waiting list a mile long, and that was easily accessible.

Forgive yourself if you have to wean off of cigs again, cut down slowly or have one every once in a while, and think of it like you're switching brands instead of QUITTING.

Good luck, we can do it!!

If you just want function, I can't think of a better mod than a Reo Grand. The startup cost will be a little higher than a cigalike but i'm dead serious when I say these things take the hassle out of vaping almost completely.

Also you will need some 18650 batteries and a charger, some kind of carto/atomizer, and of course juice.

AW IMR 18650 1600 mAh

If you like Fruit / Bakery juices I highly recommend a sample pack from here Welcome to Black Velvet e-Juice - Oklahoma's finest!

As far as the atomizer/cartomizer is concerned you can use any 510 for the most part. I really like the Cisco Spec 306's or HH357's from Avid Vaper : Personal Vaporizers and Accessories or just standard low res Boge cartomizers from any vendor you want although Boge Mix'n'Match 5 Box Deal is a really good deal on them.

This can be followed up with a bottom fed RBA if you want to go more advanced and get the most vapor possible later on. Having this setup pretty much erased all my vaping issues for a very long time and its still my go to device even with all the stuff I tinker with and own. I hope this helps if you decide to go this way, you really won't regret it in the long run :D

My problem now is I have no clue what to buy to start back up. What it's recommended so I don't buy a kit and realize that I should have bought something else
Thanks

LOL. I think I just Heard a Bottomless Pit Opening Up!

Call it a Hunch. But I think you are going to get a Ton of answers covering the Entire Spectrum.

From a Full Sized Provari with a 6ml RBA Glass Tank ($300+) to a eGo Twist VV Starter Kit using Filler Type Cartos (about $65)

I'd go with the eGo Twist / Filler Cartos because you mentioned that Simple and Money were Important.

OK if you want REALLY simple, I would go with either the Volt cigalikes (808D thread) with some blank cartos that you can fill with your own juice, or the Joyetech eRoll (510). Both really are fill and go. Both have PCC so you can charge on the go or between vapes. You will have to fill your carts, but if you fill more than one nightly, you should be good to go for just about anything.

Here's a really long story. . .

I tried the EgoT, total bust. Dry hits caused both the atomizers to pop within days of purchase. Tried it with a 510 atomizer, discovered dripping is NOT for me. Tried it with Smoktech cartomizers, got one too high/low [2.2 is too high?] in ohms, and fried my battery the first day. Tried the correct ohm carto in a tank, flooded constantly and leaked.

Bought a Boge Leo from a friend who just could not take to vaping, it also had a tank but never a dry hit and never popped the atty. Bought the Boge XL Cartomizers and found my perfect setup. Good flavor, high capacity carto, but they also flooded quickly and lost flavor rapidly. Back then it was about $5 for one. . .

When I picked up vaping again I bought some Leo clearomizers. Good flavor, taste less like filler material, but they also leak and break apart from their bases resulting in spillage all over the inside of my purse. Used my same Leo battery. Now, Boge/Innokin has changed the Leo/Lea connection to be more 510-ish. It becomes next to impossible to find my carto/clearo in stock anywhere that will fit.

Long story short, went back to ego threaded batteries, bought 2 clearo's that people are talking about right now. Evod and Kanger T3. They are great so far, just using them a few days. No leaking, no gurgling, no dry hits, really good flavor [not polyfill] sounds less like sucking air through a straw, not tight enough that you feel like you're drinking a milkshake through a coffee stirrer.

Also got a variable voltage mod on the way, want to see what all they hype is about [plus it is a thing of beauty] so we'll see how that goes. . .

I don't remember from your original post, but had you already tried clearomizers? The rebuildable ones seem like they are going to do the job for me that nothing else could.
