I have been using this one, Adjustable Battery Charger for 14500, 18650 3.7v battery, for about 2.5yrs now and not a single problem with it. I bought it with a 3.7v box mod I bought from them and it hasn't failed me yet. I charge 14500/18350/18490/18650's on it. It has an auto shut-off on it also. I have left batteries on it overnight or throughout the day and it stops charging when the batteries hit 4.2v. This version has individual channels on it now and is good to charge Ni-CD 1.2v batteries also.

Xtar WP2S It'll charge everything from 16340 to 18650 without spacers and you can change the charging output, lower to charge smaller batteries without frying them or higher so 18650s don't take forever to charge.

Don't skimp on batteries or a charger, It's cheaper, less hassle and safer to invest in good gear up front.

Okay, are you buying a 14500 Reo Mini used? You know the site does not sell them anymore, right? The Reo Mini 2.1 is still very nice and very tiny. It uses 18490 or 18500 batteries. However, with any Reo, they work much better with button top batteries. AW IMR is what is recommended (the red ones).

I already owned my batteries and charger, but I uses RTD Vapor to buy some new AW IMR batteries because that is what is recommended for them. As far as a charger, I use a intellicharger i4. It will pretty much charge almost any batteries for vape gear. It is around $20. Xtar is another highly regarded charger manufacturer.

For what to top it with, I pretty much use the Reomizer exclusively. If RDAs are not for you, the dripping atomizers from Avid Vaper : Personal Vaporizers and Accessories or Empire Mods work well too

The mini 2.1's are available at Reosmods, just not the 14500 minis. IMO The Grand is a good choice as it's not very large and has better battery life and juice capacity.

If you've got any more questions or just want to say hi to everyone stop by Reoville

Yeah the mini 2.1 is still being made. It is a great device and I wholeheartedly recommend one. It is super tiny and vapes like a champ. There used to be a Reo mini that used 14500 batteries and that is not being produced anymore. The Reo mini 2.1 (18490/500) is still being produced. It was a surprise when I opened my Reo Mini 2.1 as to the actual size.

reosmods.com Rob sells all models of Reos and the Reomizer on the site. The Reomizer is a rebuild able atomizer modified for the Reo.

Because the Reo feeds liquid from the bottom, the amount of RBAs that work with the Reo are slim. The Reomizer puts out a ton of vapor and has incredible flavor, but it has to be built by you.

You strike me as kind of a newbie, which is why I suggested the dripping at ties from Avid Vaper : Personal Vaporizers and Accessories or EmpireMods . The dripping atties are pretty good, but again they are no match for the Reomizer. It is not a super difficult build. If you have any inclination to start RBAs, I would recommend you give the Reomizer a shot.

hey mike,
I'm at the RTD Vapor's site and got an 18490 battery, can I use the xtar XP1 charger even though it only mentions charging 18500 batteries not specifically my 18490? I'm finding that this is true for a lot of places...they dont list the 18490....thank u

The charger you mentioned is a good charger, especially for the money. It will charge the 18490 batteries. Make sure to buy a few batteries, so you will have some backups. One thing I would caution you about is that you will have to get a new charger if you ever decide to use mods that use 18650 batteries, as the XP1 will only take batteries up until 18500.

IMO, I'm not super fond of the Joyetech atomizers. However, they will work. Just make sure to get low resistance attys. You may want to check out EmpireMods or Avid Vaper : Personal Vaporizers and Accessories for atomizers still. They taste better and last longer. At $10 a piece, you can get better atomizers for the same price.

If you just buy the device, you will be all set to go. A lot of people say to get an extra hot spring; however, all my original ones are still intact. Again, if you have any inclination to try to build your own coils, I would recommend the Reomizer 2.0, but it is not essential. Otherwise, enjoy your REO.

Reos Mods There is a ton of info for REOs here and Rob, the REO master posts too. His screen name is Redeyedancer
