For me just snatching up a woodvil reo on the classies. It will be my first reo. I've been literally going to the reo site looking to see if any of the wood ones were up and it never happens. Hopefully it lives up to the hype! The wood one is ok, right? No different from a regular one?

Congrats on the Woodvil. They are slightly different in that they are not true "mechanical" Reos. I do not know the specifics (how low you can go and so on) but head over to Reoville (Reos Mods) and ask away. Someone will be along to answer your questions.
No it's a Reo, just not a mechanical Reo since there are wires in it (yada yada yada on the definition of a mechanical mod). You did fine and will be happy with it. There is a reason when the Woodvils go up for sale most sell out in minutes.
The good deal is that you got one. Many people are wishing they were in your shoes right now.

It comes with 2 bottles, the rm2 that he sanded down from chrome or silver to brass looking. It comes with a wood specialty drip tip, it's the last release in the jatoba finish. It also included a igo that he got from rob as well I think he said? Paid $200 for all. Good deal? I literally hit fresh on the classifieds and it was there and I claimed it without thinking or hesitation.
Side note, I also bought from someone else 4 (yes four) 50 ML bottles of frenilla and 2 50ML bottles of crème brulee. It's a good day for me, me thinks.

Me think so too. Most woodvils go for around $180 to $200 by themselves, and you got 2 bf attys and a nice DT too.
Just keep your coils at or above 1.1ohm. Reo's have a built in safety in the spring. If you go too low on the ohms or have a short the spring will collapse to save the battery from going boom! Woodies are not for sub ohm builds.
