Someone should make a ticker that calculates money saved (not smoking) minus money spent (vaping) = $xxx.xx.

Maybe they just need to make one to show money spent (on ecig stuff). Every time you hit that paypal or credit card button, it tacks on. Then we'd really know what we were spending.

Then again, maybe that's a bad idea....LOL

I've been at this since June and I think I've paid about three times as much as it would have cost me to smoke hot ones. I'm sort of getting on top of it but I spent way too much on toys, must-haves and crap that seemed like a good idea at the time (ultrasonic cleaner, anyone?). I also think I'm holding about a year's worth of liquid, carts and spares so it ain't all doom and gloom. And of course I've had the health benefits.

New year's resolution: try and buy this stuff the way I used to buy analogs (ie like an addict - I don't recall having to try out the new Benson & Hedges)

Break even date for me is Jan 21st ... I can seeeeee the light LOL ,

Hey Emp??? I was tossing around an idea the last few days regarding Ultrasonic cleaners.... imagine filling them with straight PG, toss in atomisers.... voila , clean and primed???
Dont suppose you'd wanna try it out for me lol

I don't care so much about breaking even; it's the number of analogues avoided that's the main motivator for me.

However, if my maths is correct, the 8 x 901 batteries, 6 or 7 x 901 atomisers, extra mains charger and a load of e-juice and blank carts I've bought still works out cheaper than what I would have spent on smokes.

Don't need any form of scientific study to tell me that I feel great for the first time in years!!!

BTW, substitute the dollar sign in the ticker below for a GBP pound sign.

Under my theory of the case based upon the facts currently available I will always be way ahead using these devices for I put the value of my health at the top of the list when it comes to money. As for actual cost I think (after initial set up--back up atomizers, batterys, cartridges, usb passthroughs and portable usb battery block, plus e-juice--I am now saving some money!! Hang in there everyone!!

I think I'm sitting pretty good ... I used to spend $200.00 a month on smokes ... right now I'm at $224 and change on "stuff" .. but ... that covers my Pen style , a usb passthrough, 2 batteries, a charger, 2 extra atomizers, a bunch of carts both filled and empty, I'm using Cash liquid right now, but have the sampler from JC (ordered BEFORE things got ummm "colorful") and I think 4, maybe 5 bottles from Janty hopefully be here Sat. sooo barring anything horrible happening anytime soon ... this should hold me _atleast_ a month ...
hehe I hope :D

my banner thing is a little deceptive.
In the last 3 months I have only spent $45usd on 1 carton of analogs.
I have spent about $600usd on ecig and juice.
Normaly I would have spent $540usd on analogs in those 3 months.
So when you consider that I have gotten a 901, an 801 usb and battery pack, a screwdiver, a bling, juice, and I have pipe parts on order I think I am doing pretty good.
Of course I need cash to get his juice in so I can send him at least $100 but hey I feel alot better. Already got one friend off of analogs, another waiting for him to get juice so he can get his gear and try to give up analogs, and another giving it some serious thought.

I have bought a DSE901, a spare battery and atomizer, USB passthrough, APC Mobile Power Pack, JC sampler, and 2 10ml bottles of juice from Steve at puresmoker. I have spent a total of 195.90 on e-cig's, and have saved 112.55 so far, so I am 82.95 in the red right now.

Not bad I think, I am sure i will be ahead of the game by the next 2 months!! APC Mobile power pack is awesome!! I can get probably 4+ days without having to recharge the mobile power pack.

The trick is to immediately set yourself up to break even.
901 kit: 50 bucks
extra battery+atomizer: 25 bucks
2 rn4072 atomizers w usb pass: 40 bucks
usb battery pack: 30 dollars
5 10ml bottles of juice: 50 bucks
2 50ml bottle of juice: 60 bucks

255 for everything you need for 2 months, including trying out 5 different flavors so you can choose your 50ml bottles, if my math is correct.
i spent 10 bucks on analogs a day. 2 months of analog smoking is about 600 bucks for me.
Obviously i spent a little more than this, but if you tried right from the start it would be easy, even for people in the UK, to break even.
