my counter is way off too. BUT the Days are correct. that is why mine is there more than the $$$ and actually the one i'm on figures in cost per cart and how many carts a day. I'm sure someone could create a Puresmoker banner that accounted for Everything - and is able to be updated (bought a new PV etc, big order of juice, etc...) - i'd use it...

It's still in beta, and will probably move to one of PureSmokers servers before too long, but try out:

Actually my sig line includes all my initial purchases plus a daily inflated amount for carts and supplies calculates that. Now if I took all that out my sig would read approximately 1950 dollars saved. Pretty accurate actually.. now to recalc after my V2 and pass thru.

Actually all told, I have only spent about three hundred or so in in supplies so far. Was buying from China in volume. I have 1.50 a day built in to calculate for supplies and I ain't vaping THAT much!!!! Especially since I refill carts and cut juice.

Since June I've spent approximately $3,000 on vaping. (this is for two people)

Cigarettes would have been about $2,000.

Haven't saved any money yet, but I've sure tried a bunch of different juices.

Cigarettes would have been almost 2k here for one person and I haven't graduated to a big girl unit just yet. I bought my original 510 and then a bunch of batts and attys from China and generally buy up to 200 ml a pop for less than 100 dollars.

If all that was juices, I have just one question: What have you been smoking? j/k. I do try different flavors but I could vape dead cow in a pinch so nothing purchased goes to waste:D

I will probably see my tab go up substanitially since I am looking around for local solid devices and trying different juices. Unfortunately, once I find something I like I never go back to the cheap stuff which explains why my cigs are over 5 bucks a pack even in a recession:(.

I think that what saved me was that most of my daytime analogs were burned up more than smoked up. Once you put an ecig down, its out and the rest is there when you are ready.

Oh, I started with an over-priced NJOY and its over-priced cartridges, then a Titan kit with extra batteries, extra atomizers and a bunch of higher-priced TW juices. Then I got a Prodigy and batteries, and more batteries, and more chargers for the batteries, and much more juice and DIY stuff, and... do you have any idea of how many flavors Lorann, Capella and Bickford make? It's a bunch!

As others, I started with a high priced, substandard e-cig I got at the county fair. It lasted less than 2 weeks but got me started. Went to the Joye 510 while I waited for my Protege to get out of Preorder. With the cost of atomizers and juice I have just started to save a bit of cash. Now that the hardware is paid for, the savings start to add up. Instead of $7.50/day on analogs, I spend in the neighborhood of $2.50 on juice and atomizers.

I smoked between 1 and 1.5 packs of Pall Mall Lights a day and always got them on sale in 2 or 3 packs for appx $5/per. Once the first ecig crashed I was up to 2 packs a day till I got the 510. None since.

It is not about the $ as much as the better breathing, taste, and lack of tobacco smell in clothes and car.

Well, thanks for the input. It does seem like there are a lot of cost savings if you're a heavy smoker. I think "WESLEY" and i are very similar in thought. I have spent a lot of money, but a lot of my "product" has gone to friends, etc.

Please don't get me wrong... the e-cig way is the ONLY way. Sometimes I feel like it's indirectly marketed as a way to save money. If you're a heavy smoker and like to sit in privacy (not share the experience), then YES. You will save money. But, if you are a lighter smoker and bought 10 different juices and friends ask to sample everything you have, then chances are that your costs are not saving you much.

Like I said in my first post, vaping is a hobby for me and a way to indirectly sell the concept to my friends who smoke cigarettes. There's no better feeling than when they find a flavor they like and I loan them my PT to "test the waters". I have gotten at least 5-7 friends to purchase a starter kit and most of them are die hards.

This really is a great community and I am so proud to say that I haven't touched a cigarette in a long ... time. The only negative so far has been being a hunter in the middle of winter when it's freezing outside. The Prodigy doesn't like warming up much in extreme temps!!!

Good luck to you all!

But here's a positive side: deer avoid the smell of tobacco smoke since they associate it with humans, but they may be attracted by a sweet smell like vanilla eliquid vapor. Ever hear of hunters using vanilla extract as a scent?

My wife and I have about 600-700 in this stuff in the last 3 months, the cost in cigs would have been about 400.00 i am guessing ( cheap cigs for us). Hopefully it gets cheaper after we have what we want. I will say though..we wouldn`t go back to smoking if it was free. We both feel much better and not huffin and a puffin doing the smallest things.
+ im someone who likes all the gadgetry of these things.

Yeah, the initial ramp up was costly, mainly due to the trail and error. When I started vaping nearly a year ago, it was a lot harder to figure out what hardware to buy, what liquid to use... all that stuff. As a result, I ended up with a lot of stuff I never use anymore. Now that I'm set on the Prodigy and the 510 atomizer, the cost has dropped dramatically. I don't spend anywhere near as much on PV stuff now than I did on cigarettes before.
