Nice mod, great re-use.
Great Walking Dead continues.. favorite also..
Finally something to do with all the dead (not walking :p) tape measures I have lying around..
Had the same problem with getting someone juice he liked, settled on flavorless 24mg, 70pg 30vg and he likes it.. go figger..

Thanks for posting..

thanks northhar

dead tape measures, lol, hmmm...
i might can fix you right up with some brand new innards
its no fun unless you destroy something new, lol

so, are we getting 6 more episodes and done again ?
thats the only bad thing about this series, too short
at this rate, everyone can buy about 5 seasons on one disk, lol

thanks again

thanks BJ43

i read that whole thread before posting this

all that stuff fascinates me but yall are talking soooo far over my head
that sometimes it makes my head hurt, lol

in the air force (about 25 years ago), i was airframe (structural) repair,
which i guess, is still my strong point (if i have one at all, lol)

the electrical aspects of "anything" takes me all the way back to "zero"
knowledge and experience

e-cigs have been my first effort at wiring anything up other than a ceiling
fan, lol, and my "only" experience with soldering

i want to know how to do this stuff that you upper level modders speak of,
reckon its just gonna take time and my "full time job" keeps it at a snails pace

i dont need a schematic, i need a drawing, lol

i am still gonna give it a shot
this has become my favorite spare time obsession...i mean hobby, lol

thanks again
gervis

Dang Gervis, except for the AF, we could be twins :D. Guess that means I don't have a strong point
I like the LM2596 modules because they are what I call 'plug n play' VV; simple power in and power out connections.

Thats neat! You have a version with the belt clip on it?

thanks stiche

i had to remove the center support to allow room for the batts
it was what the clip actually screwed into to make it strong
i tried cutting a little slit in the rubber cover and slid the clip into it
it worked but i wasnt really satisfied with the strength or looseness
to have quick access to the batts by sliding the rubber cover off...
it wouldnt be very user friendly attaching it back to the plastic casing

did any of that make any sense ? lol, i think i just confrused myself !

i would love to see some other tape mods, maybe get some additional ideas
they are super easy and fun to make...also pretty cheap, lol

GERGOZ, some modders succesfully use a rare-earth small magnets to fix lids.

i was gonna use some on this mod
actually went and bought 3 different sizes
but once i slid the cover on, it holds it very tightly
and didnt have to use them

i really like the concept of using magnets
those little rascals dont give at all

what would be a good adhesive to use on them ?

hey slimest, make sure you post some pics of your friends mods !
