about how good my reo mini is. I got a mini a couple weeks ago and it's all I use now. I got a Kick at the same time to put in my Bullet, but since discovering how much I love atty's and reos, I haven't even taken it out of the little box. It just sits there, buried in my bag, waiting for the new Grand it'll be shoved in one day, after I finally get my hands on a Grand and get the itch to mix things up with it a little bit.

That being said, I am glad for recent status update on new Grands being available at the end of the month. I feel like I'm waiting for xmas morning. I think this is the part where I'd use foul language for dramatic effect, but I don't think that's legal around these parts.

How do you people do it? The anticipation is KILLING ME over here.

Another complaint - I work offshore, so I need to use a PV that I can drop in a puddle of saltwater and not be afraid for the results. This means no bottom feeders, so when I go back to work I'll have to go back to carto's and retire my reo (atleast during the daytime.) I am currently looking for a new job. waaaaaaaaaaaah.

I use my Reo with cartos all the time, it is great. Unless you have some sort of mod I am unfamiliar with or have a sealed connecter carto tank, I can't see a puddle drop being any more dramatic on a carto'd Reo than any other mod. Hopefully you can keep rocking the Reo!

Seriously, cartos have a habit of lasting forever on a Reo.

Best of luck with everything and Vape Groovily :D

I think his thought is getting the saltwater back in the bottle? I wouldn't worry about it... get you one of these: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/227482-how-i-fight-keep-clean-catch-cup.html It is called a beveled washer, they have variety packs at lowes that come in handy, and there is one that fits stellar on a mini. you wont get anything in there, and if you get a sealed up mod, it is very unsafe anyway, no matter what your battery will get wet if you drop it in a puddle. Congrats on your new mini REO! glad you are enjoying its delicious simplicity, and you will soon find out its indestructability and versatility! :)

Welcome to Reoville and congrats on the mini! With Reo's you learn to be patient as you know the reward will be worth it :)

My DH also works offshore, he is an ROV supervisor. Why not try a lanyard holster from a company called Serenity Gear, then you don't have to worry about it ending up in a puddle or down in the moon pool! :)

Geeeez - you guys sure make it hard to complain! Within a day of posting this I had two offers to buy a Grand and a ton of good information! I am definitely gonna have to check out those cases for work purposes. They may definitely make me feel braver - I spend a lot of time standing on the edge of the deck launching divers and their tools. This sometimes causes me to take large waves and stay wet for long parts of my shift - so it IS in fact the saltwater that I'm afraid of, and I'd hate to damage a reo when I'm miles from land, but one of those cases that covers the squonking hole may be the ticket. Thanks for all the info and kind offers!

Not salt water, but I went water rafting end of summer last year with my Reo Mini in my pocket. The guy leading the tour thought it was funny to make sure we got dunked in the water every chance he could.. I was drenched...my Min got soaked too... when we made land- half way on our trip, I pulled the battery out, made sure the inside of my mini was at least semi-dry...nothing to really dry it with...blew out my atty and within a few tokes on it, it was vaping like new! These can get wet (within reason) and still keep working great. With a metal mod, I would worry more about dropping it in the water and it sinking and losing it for good. If you're going to get a case, you might think of one of those neoprene cases for a small digital camera- if you get one thick enough, I think it would allow a metal Reo to float!!
