On my single coil rta builds I tend to like my legs on the bottom, shorter legs that way :p (though my kayfun has a Clapton vertical coil in it now, wicked like a carto.....pretty nice flavor)

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.
I tend to try to stay just building a single micro however the first I ever built was Magma..deep juice channels

Congrats on all your successes and journeys Gel Drops, even those down wrong paths. Just a couple of comments from previous postings - forgive the paraphrasing, but there is just way too many pages to sift through in order to find the exact quotes for including here...

Having stuff all over the house is about par for most of us, I think.

On the topic of nic strength: In general, most coil builds will perform better than the stock over the counter stuff, producing more vapor. Since the nicotine is contained within the vapor, more vapor means more nicotine. So most people that wind up at this level tend to seriously drop the nic content.

The altered cases posted are great for on the go travelling, but a little bothersome for home use. I went a different way:

Vape Holder.jpg

Of course a couple recent purchases have not been incorporated into the holder, been too busy playing with the new stuff. For instance, I picked up the ZNA for sub-ohming, a Plume Veil, and for tank usage I went with the Aspire Atlantis since I have the Nautilus and the Nautilus Mini.

The Plume was a lot easier to coil up - dual coil running at .6 ohms than a dual coil on my Trident for a running ohm of 1.5, go figure... I haven't gotten around to rebuilding coils for the Protanks, Nautilus, Nautilus Mini, or the Atlantis yet. Then again, the stock .5 coil for the Atlantis is awesome. I might not ever get around to it, but you never know...

The T8 is all I have a been using with the K sup tank..that .57 head is still going strong after 3 weeks,USMC told me that the 1.2 head packs a punch also, tomorrow I am going to remove both of the standard coils and build a simple micro just to test the flavor out I'm not going below 1ohm..

I understand. I use the Atlantis a lot while at home myself - I feel the same way about the .5 coil it came with. Then again, the Plume Veil's dual coil build is running .4 ohms, but I was actually trying to hit .8 ohms. I missed my target, but it still worked. That's more than I can say for some other builds I have done....

You are not going to want a micro coil in the occ head. I've done as small as 2.5mm, but found that 3mm works better

I do not think I'm up for the challenge when it comes to rebuilding those small heads,I have two sub tanks, one of them has yet to be opened.I was just actually referring to trying to make a decent build and wick it properly and just take the standard head off completely.

You will be surprised at how unbelievably easy building the occ head is. By far easier then the rba head...following the videos I posted here earlier, ones for the coil, and the second one for a better way to wick....i can have an occ coil built and wicked in about a minute

26 gauge, 4 wraps puts you around .6, 5 wraps around .8.
Run your 3mm bit through the wick hole, through the coil, and out the other wick hole...keeps the coil in line with the holes when adjusting and cutting the legs and installing the grommet and pin.
Just twist your wick to a point, run it through one hole and out the other, pull through till you feel the right amount of resistance, trim close to but not right at the side of the head, then poke the wick into the holes on each side

I have only used OC from the beginning of this adventure,I am glad that I did I don't think you could pull this off with anything other than OC.

I looked at a sub tank mini today.... Definitely going to save up for one. The rba head for it doesn't require changing chimneys, and looks like it will even fit the full size tank

I will kinda be glad when the current head that came with the sub tank already installed goes bad, then I will have no choice as far as rebuilding it this thing has lasted about a month now,my Lemo got broken the glass portion, will have to research and find a replacement for it.The rba part on the sub tank holds around four mils of liquid I think vs the six mils of juice with a standard head that it came with.
