Well it will also depend on the build, how many wraps..... What ohms....but if you think about it, wrapped wire almost doubles the surface area. I like my vape to be just a touch warm. Those kind of builds are too warm for me, just like anything under .5 on my rda is also too warm. My sweet spot on my rda is .5-.6 ohms dual coil using 28 gauge kanthal

I agree. I like a cooler vape myself. The coil I pictured is .9, which is almost my lower limit. I don't see any need myself to go below .7. It also makes a difference on what type of mod your running it from. If I put this build on my stingray, it will function very different from my sigelei 20 Watt, that would function different from my svd.

If you increase your diameter, you can get higher ohms without trying to fit more wraps in....I try and keep it around 11 wraps myself, for ease of placement
yes that makes sense, not really a lot of room on the deck for error either you got to have the wick just right ,away from threads and not covering the vent holes.

This hobby is very expensive that I do know.

I agree. When you first start you run spreadsheets and it looks fairly cheap. But then you startfinding better equipment and better ejuice.

(clones)
What I've found it that it is easy to make ejuice (nets) for the home and to setup inexpensive mechanicals for the home with high performing at homeclone drippers This can all be world class and very inexpensive..

But going out in public and going to work you have to turn to clearomizers which means expensive (non-diy) juice and expensive coils.

If I could get a real Solid KLF build that pendulum may swing,

Its the 21st century at the least have anchoring with set screws like the 3.1 (but without the terrible fill hole.)

RDA are so for advanced technically for the builder and some of them hold as much liquid as the KFL I do hope the Chinese factories continue to improve on the KFL design because the Germans and the Russians didn't get it right IMHO..

You summarized my whole outlook on the KFL. I think the deck on the 3.1 was a huge improvement with the setscrews.

However no one that I know of has stepped up to to say that "THIS IS THE FILL BOTTLE FOR THE #>! FILL PORT." I keep thinking they wouldn;t have gone to all that trouble to give us the fill port only to have no fill bottle that works with it.

When I received my 3.1 I was so elated finally have a deck I can build and really let down when the fill bottle metal tube broke off inside rendering it useless.

Out there somewhere there is a plastic bottle that works. I even found a 3.1 clone manufacturer that comes with a bottle. Their webpage says use no other bottles. Yet when I contacted them to buy some fill bottles I got no reply, so it must have been vaporware. I can't imagine a highish end 3.1 clone that doesn't sell extra bottles.

Well if anyone knows of the right fill bottle for the 3.1 please let us know. That would make it a 21st century tank IMHO. Until then its an an home novelty (man toy.)

Step 12: Assemble it all back together, get your 5ml syringe fitted with a 18G Green Luer Lock taper tip or you can use a 20ml Oval Luer Lock bottle, cap & tip and fill up with your chosen juice, when filling the syringe i tend to suck some juice up and release it back into the bottle just to get rid of any air that is inside the syringe:

Step 13: I fully close the airflow control and hold the Kayfun upside down at a 11 o'clock position and then push my 5ml syringe fitted with a 18G Green Luer Lock taper tip or you can use a 20ml Oval Luer Lock bottle into the filler hole nice and secure:
