I cannot get the fluval thing to work

I cut down the fluval just like in the youtube videos and i put it in the cart making sure not to compress the material but I still cannot get juice to absorb into the fluval material.

Any tricks to this that Im missing?

Wash it with a tiny bit of handsoap (rub the soap in your hands first then into the fluval. rinse well and dry but don't dry it completely.

That should get it going.

If I can't poke a pin into it I know it's too tight so you might wanna trim it a lil if it's too tight.

did you buy the water polishing pads? you can also try using a syringe and a 19g needle
